I am known as the "Dove Chocolate Lady" and I have been for over 20 years. I carry a bag of Dove Promises - Dark, Milk, and Carmel with me every where and offer them to every one I see. I recently discovered the Dark Chocolate %26 Peanut Butter! These are irresistible to me. Therefore I have to limit my purchases of this flavor in particular because if I have them I will eat them all!!!!!

I love dark chocolate. I love peanut butter. So I I eat one of these every day. Then I unwrap it and read the saying inside. Pro tip. - with dark chocolate, you should let it sit in your mouth and get a little melty and you can experience the full wonderful not too sweet flavor of it.

Usually I just cannot stand peanut butter/chocolate combinations. But Dove hit it perfectly on target. These are wonderful! They have a bit of protein with the benefit of the dark chocolate making it one it the nearest thing to a guilt-free treat I have been able to find.

The dark chocolate is on point. The peanut butter filling is decadent and smooth. You taste the chocolate. You taste the peanut butter. So many "peanut butter and chocolate" treats, you are missing the flavor of either one or the other. Not the case with these. Now, I'm a hard-core Reeses Peanut Butter Candy fan, but I would now choose these every single time! The shareable bag and size is convenient, priced right, and plenty to share - which was my intention to start with. But, after tasting one, I decided to keep them all for myself!

Delicious! Better than Reese's because the peanut butter inside feels real and simple without heavily blending it with sugars. My husband who isn't normally a fan of dark chocolate even loves these!

This and Hersheys Nuggets were little Halloween treats for my recently widowed sister in law who is a dark chocolate fan. She said she loves Nuggets, but has never had Dove. I assured her that it is superb, but I don't know what she thinks. The ratings are based on my opiñion. They were safely delivered to her as promised and well packáged. I'm confident that a 5 star rating is well deserved for these and the Nuggets as well.

These are really good and the bag I received was fresh! Just be careful not to order in this brutal heat or you will come home to a small pile of liquid chocolate on your porch! I like these but prefer the milk chocolate.

They upped the price and shrank the bag size by about 50% - disgusting. Parent company boasts 50 BILLION in profit last year, so they shrank the bag and charge more now out of pure greed. I will no longer be supporting this brand and encourage others to do the same.
