Downy Blends Soft & Fresh In-Wash Laundry Scent Booster Beads, Toasted Vanilla Scent, 24.5 oz

Incredibly expensive. $20 for laundry crystals. That said, this scent is delicious and leaves me whole apt smelling great. I love the vanilla, clean and yummy.

Love these beads because they soften my sheets and towels so well and they smell great. My only problem is that they don’t seem to dissolve well in my LG front load washer. I suspect it’s because the washer uses a low volume of water on the wash and rinse cycles. I have to wash and rinse one load of laundry multiple times to get the soap and beads out of the fabric. I hate my LG washer because of it. The beads may not be an issue on a washer that uses a proper amount of water. When the beads don’t dissolve in the washer properly, they make a mess in the dryer and stick to the inside of the machine.

I was super excited to try this out because I love vanilla, however it is definitely not the gourmand vanilla scent you're probably thinking it will be, it is fruity which is odd considering it shouldn't be. The scent is still nice but definitely a let down from what you think it should be. The scent is definitely on the lighter side if you use detergent that has fragrance I highly doubt you'd smell the beads. I use a fragrance free detergent and could barely smell it.

I really like the smell but the only time I smell it is when I put it in the washing machine. The smell does not last and I decided this is not worth it.

No scent at all. I’ve been using the pink beads and I really like it. I came home after a one month trip and I could still smell it in my laundry room. I thought I’d give the vanilla ones a shot. Very disappointed as I couldn’t even smell the vanilla when I opened up the bottle. Was unable to smell it in my laundry. I won’t buy this again. I’ll stick with the pink ones.

smelling this made my allergies go off it burned my nose it doesn’t smell like vanilla at all just highly artificial fragrance

These do not smell anything like vanilla. They smell like Irish spring bar soap.

These are a complete waste of money! My laundry doesn't smell any different from usual. I use a Tide Power Pod and a Bounce dryer sheet, and all laundry still smells just like that. I've tried using more scent beads and a smaller load. No difference at all.

There’s no real smell besides smelling slightly salty? I use Gain detergent and decided to give these scent beads a try since I absolutely love cozy scents like vanilla. There’s zero smell once clothes are dried besides a slightly strange salt smell. Definitely not worth $10

With all the marketing hype surrounding this product, I was really excited when it finally became available, especially as a regular buyer of Downy Beads. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this scent. It’s so subtle that I can barely notice it on my clothes, even when I use extra. I wouldn’t recommend this scent.
