Persil smells great and cleans clothes really well. The scent is fresh without being overwhelming, and every load comes out looking brighter and feeling cleaner. I’ve tried many detergents, and this one stands out for how effectively it removes everyday dirt and keeps fabrics looking new. A solid choice if you want both great cleaning power and a pleasant fragrance.
Peresil by far is the best if not supreme laundry detergent which can also be used for. Washing dishes …a small amount in dishwasher…squirt bottles …wash car….wash floor….wash dog…wash anything…the persil leaves noresidue the scented has a very faint smell…the original has none not a trace of odor…It cleans fast and effective in most cleaning situations….Its not the answer I add ammonia with it to get out some more stubborn stains like coffee and sauce….Not a small amount of coffee stain but a thick wipe up stains left in a towel…I rub the persil into it with ammonia…I do not use bleach as it yellows white fabric. Even non yellowing… Which is not the same in my opinion ….I don’t use it …. If the stain is real severe you can always use baking soda with vinegar it. Foams up and with a bit of a persil scrub will get out the stain easily….Other detergents in my opinion do not work as well and you need less…I first used it in London and Europe…lost contact with it when i returned to the us. Then one day I ventured into a Walmart and there was PERSIL… I purchased several bottles…The unscented is not always in the store and has to. Be purchased online at least it’s not in my store but might be in yours….Happy Washing
We choose Persil (blue, not green) because we have sensitive skin. Persil blue is a non-bio variety that is free from enzymes which are common allergens and could trigger reactions in babies and adults with sensitive skin. This detergent is equal to, if not better than, a more expensive popular brand in the orange bottle. It does prevent colors, and blacks from fading. Persil gets out hard stains such as tomato sauce, wine, and chocolate. It may not always remove pre-existing stains, but does fade them. We've never had staining from the detergent itself. We like the fresh scent and the price!
As a mom with a disable child that deals with soiled clothes/linens, I 100% recommend Persil. It gets the stains out without a presoak and makes the clothes smell great. I never have to use a fabric softener of any kind. I even use it on my baby's clothes. Great for sensitive skin.
I was originally used and tide, but tide was too thick for my high efficiency washer and would leave soap in the compartment. This detergent does not leave any soap residue in the liquid department of my washing machine. It smells really good and it works really well with getting stains out.
I’ve used many detergents over the years, and this product has blown my mind. From just pouring out the detergent into the machine and it looking so clean in the dispenser to after finally drying it-the stains came out of the laundry and the refreshing smell is absolutely unbelievable. I will forever be a Pursell customer from here on out. I’m so glad I found you.
I was a Tide user for years and then a friend mentioned how much she preferred Persil. So, I tried it and haven't looked back since. Persil cleans whites and keeps colors true wash after wash. Love the smell and freshness it leaves on my laundry. Definitely a keeper.
I decided to buy try Percel even though it wasn't in my detergent budget. I had read some great reviews. I also read about it's performance on Consumer Reports . It was even rated above Tide. I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by how wonderful it works. It really cleaned up my greasy favorite red overalls too.
Persil gets my clothes CLEAN, and smelling fresh! My husband works in a factory, and his clothes can get pretty grimey (and I mean GRIMEY), but Persil gets them clean 95% of the time. Persil also doesn't have an overwhelming scent, which I really like. I have tried just about every soap on the market and I keep coming back to persil!!
Month after month I been having my laundry finish up in the dryer and still stink as if I didn't add any detergent to my wash. I have to wash the loads a 2nd time for them to come out better and learned to add more than just a capful. Im told by a repairman, my washer is fine, it's your detergent. Something has changed in the formula along with the label. I have to use MORE than a capful for my loads so they come out ok. While I used to love Persil 's Original Scent on my clothes, it's not the original formula and barely smell it on fabrics after washing. I've decided to return my bulk supply of Persil and find a new detergent. I had switched to Persil from the orange bottle brand years ago bc that wasn't cleaning well and Persil was a great improvement. Keyword, it WAS. I e tried Persil for Activewear(weak), the Odor Destroyer(horrible scent) and still never the same fresh clean result as previously.
