Downy Rinse and Refresh 48 oz. Odor Remover Fresh Lavender Scent Liquid Fabric Softener (70-Loads)

It's not intended to soften fabric but its ability to remove odors is impressive. Stinky dog smell? No problem - takes the smell out. Sweaty gym clothes? My duffel gym bag smells fresh. No more old sweaty sock smell. The lavender smell is refreshing not flowery and doesn't leave your clothes (and duffel bag) smelling like laundry soap. Even used it on my gym shoes and they came out great.

I kept wondering why my clothes didn't smell nice and it was because I was using a different brand and so I decided to try this and my clothes smell wonderful and they feel soft and actually look nice so I'm gonna keep using this. It was definitely worth the money to get the bigger bottle. I would definitely recommend this. The smell is it's not overbearing.

I love this rinse instead of softner. The smell is amazing and it last longer. You barely have to use much to achieve the same results that you did with softner.

I had to try this because I am not a fan of fabric softener. It leaves my clothes feeling weird to me but the rinse aid doesn’t do that. Just leave my clothes feeling clean and smelling amazing! It is a very strong scent so if you aren’t into heavier scents it may not be for you.

Bought this because it’s claimed to help with those stubborn orders and I Knew I had to try it. My husband works from home and somedays he goes and works in a golf course. The material of his shirts is like that spandex material and it hold the Oder and by the end of the day he smells horrible. Started to use this and my husband asked what I was doing different and he was shocked when I showed him. At the end of a work day he no longer smells so horrid and I like giving him a hug: highly recommended

we recently moved to a different city %26 have to use the apartments laundry facility. the water us hard and my clothes were starting to fill rough. i ststed using this Downey conditioner and my clothes started smeller nice and the fabric is softer. good solution for hard water issues

We love Downy’s Rinse %26 Refresh. It has all the benefits of a fabric softener, without the draw backs. We have very hard water and this does the trick to rinse the hard water out of our clothes and has a gentle scent. Our clothes feel soft and there is no need to use a fabric sheet in the dryer. We do use wool balls.

Unbelievable how good this works. I have smelly arm pits and I would normally have to pretreat the pit area of all my shirts before washing. Not with this. It really gets the funk out of those pits. No more pretreating and spraying fabric fresheners. This is good stuff.

The bottle leaves pretty bad tbh would by again in store but delivery sometimes it gets a bit shaken up and spills some. Came in plastic tho so wasn't too big of a mess. Smells and works amazing so I'm content.

I agree with others that the packaging was poorly designed. It has a slick bottle which is awkward to hold while pouring into a cap that was difficult to remove. Why don’t you just use the same design as the other Downy products but with clear plastic? You can’t remove the cap and use it to measure the softener because it runs down the outside of the container and makes it slippery.
