I bought these knives as a gift for myself :) The quality is so nice and I love the design on the blades! They are easy to hold and work with... would definitely recommend

I accidentally bought 2 different sets, this one is definitely the better one .

I loved the design and that there is a knife sharpener in the block

After one wash in the sink, the black wood is now an ashy grey color (see photo). A few of them have been used, washed in the sink, not the dishwasher. For the attached photo: I haven't used or washed the knife on the right to compare the wood tarnishing. The knife on the left, used once %26 washed once. They are sharp but poor quality fading wood. I wanted them black, not grey.

These are NOT self sharpening! There's a pull through sharpener on the block, but definitely manual sharpening. Not what i wanted at all.
