Freshware 3-Piece Plastic Cutting Boards Set for Kitchen

The freshware plastic cutting boards are a pretty good set of plastic cutting boards. I prefer wood or stone, but plastic is nice when the others are being used or dirty. These have a nice look and I like that there are 3 different cutting boards, which are all different sizes. The sizing is very functional and convenient. Sizes as pictured. The smallest is pretty small, but it would be good for quick cutting and cleaning. Like I said, I prefer wood or stone, but I'm glad this plastic is BPA free, while being hard and durable. I also really like the Freshware brand. I like how they are reversible, so really you are getting 6 cutting boards. The details state they are hypoallergic, which I'm assuming means the plastic doesn't hold onto dust and bacteria in its crevices because it's non-porous. Each cutting board also have the grooves around the edges to catch any juices that may flow from cutting. That way you save your counter from being sticky or filled with germs. The backs of the cutting boards don't contain the grooves. I also really like the grey handles because it makes these cutting boards look more stylish, plus it provides a nice grip. Their description states that they resist bacteria, odor, and stains. I have yet to confirm that because I just received them, but I love that feature. Bacteria worries me because I do cut chicken and raw meat on my cutting boards so it's nice to know if hand washed properly they shouldn't hold onto salmonella or e-coli. Another wonderful feature is that they are dishwasher safe. Nothing better than being able to throw them in the dishwasher. These look good, look durable, and are functional.

The cutting boards each have a trough along the outer edge of the surface to help keep excess juices , and smaller pieces from spilling or falling over the edge of the boards. I received the “3-piece Freshware Reversible Kitchen Cutting Boards” and love them! This set comes with three different sized boards for a wide range of uses. I keep the smallest one for just fruit, the medium one for veggies and the large one for meats. Each board has a non-slip edge on it to help keep the board still while cutting. One side of the cutting board is completely flat and the other side has a sunken in ridge all around the edge which is great for catching the juices when cutting things. The packaging says the “boards are made of BPA-free durable hard plastic with no toxic or harmful materials.” The small board measures in at 10 x 5.8 x 0.3 inches, the medium board is 12.4 x 7.8 x 0.3 inches and the large board is 16 x 9.8 x 0.3 inches. These boards stack really well too. I was really impressed with these cutting boards when I went to cut cilantro because after cutting it, there is always a green stain. Not with these, I was easily able to wipe away all the green! I put these boards in the dishwasher and they did great! The rubber grips all stayed on. Bottom line, get these boards! They are great for cutting all kinds of things and are easy to care for.

These cutting boards are nice. You have to pay attention to which side is the back. The rubber around the handle really helps with holding it.

I like the set of 3 Freshware Reversible Kitchen Cutting Boards. It's nice to have a wooden cutting board for cutting breads and for presentation. However, when cutting messy foods, I prefer a board that can be easily cleaned and sanitized when necessary. This set of cutting boards fit the bill and the boards are very practical. The set comes with small, (10”× 6”), medium, (12.5" × 8”), and large, (16” × 10”), boards. (The sizes are approximate). Each board is over one fourth inch thick. I felt they were the perfect thickness. They are lightweight but quite sturdy and can be used on either side. I found that they did not slip while chopping up food, which is a very important feature. One side has a kind of “trench” that is good for things with juices, such as meats. The other side is flat for anything else. As you can see in the picture I provided, when I was chopping carrots and such, the board got some knife marks and got discolored. However, these boards are dishwasher safe and the board came out white. The knife marks remain- the boards are not self healing. Knife marks do not bother me in the least. The thing is, I used the sanitizing cycle with extra heated water and heated dry on my dishwasher when I wash the boards and they did very well and came out as white as new and were sanitized without warping! I really love that in a cutting board! I truly recommend these cutting boards because you get 3 of them in convenient sizes that are lightweight, sturdy, and they are easily cleaned and sanitized, which is important.

The Freshware Reversible Kitchen Cutting Board (3-Piece) set is made of BPA free food grade non porous plastic that withstands cutting. These seem very stain resistant as they are not porous. I spilled tomato sauce and it washed right off. These items are dishwasher safe. There are three sizes: 16 by 9.8 inches, 12.4 by 7.8 inches and 20 by 5.8 inches. All are .3 inches thick. The white plastic cutting boards are flat on one side and the alternate side has handy grooves to catch drainage. The cutting boards have a gray nonslip edging on the shorter sides and in the hand hold area. It feels a bit rubbery like silicone. They are easy to hold because of the edging and the edging helps to hold the boards in place on your counter when you use them. I really like the hand holds- they make it easy to hang these in my cabinets. These get 5 stars as they clean easily, withstand tough use and are easily stored

I really love these! They are nice enough to leave out on the counter. They are elegant, easy to clean and so far, have proven to be scratch free. The gray rubber like handle and bottom trim is slip resistant and prevents scratches to your counter tops when in use. There are grooves to catch fruit juices when cutting them up. I love that they are non-porous so that when I clean them I am confident there is no bacteria within the surface. They can be placed in your dishwasher. They are also BPA free. I would not put scorching hot pots and pans on these since they are plastic and may damage the surface but I do place warm items on them. I use these several times a day. My new go to boards! The sizes included are 10x5.8x0.3, 12.4x7.8x.03 and 16x9.8x0.3

These Freshware Reversible Cutting Board (3-piece) have a streamline look to them, that is quite appealing. They look modern for the kitchen use, and are BPA-Free. The 3 distinctive sizes can be used for different tasks, and even though some would have preferred they were a little larger, they work fine. The juice grooves help to catch all manners of drippings, which helps a lot with containing the messy moments. Being made of heavy duty plastic I do not have to worry for the knives I use. Also, they do not take a lot of space, and when not in use, they can easily can be set aside without much problem. They are easy to grab, have silicone wrapped around, keeping them steady for the task at hand. According to the manufacturer the surface will not retain bacteria, stains or odors, and I prefer to wash them by hand with a mild detergent and a non stick scouring pad. While at first they may seem narrower and smaller, in a short time one discovers they work just fine. I have used them for onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, cantaloupes, and the smaller variety of watermelon with no issues. The three sizes have their uses, and with minimal care these sturdy trio seem to promise long service. I will definitely cut some meat with the largest one, and use the other two for all other type of foods. Prior to this new set, I was using a Bamboo set, that with time had warped, and one even broke in two. Something about careful drying between uses, and I can already tell with these plastic boards it will not happen. Only time can tell now, but for now the least they deserve are 4 Stars.

This 3 piece cutting board set is very nice. I'm impressed for several reasons. One reason being is that there is a variety of sizes. The second reason being that they are pretty durable. They will hold up. I used a new knife to cut up food items and did not see any scratches on the boards after I was done chopping. I also like their handles which helped me while washing the cutting boards and while removing the food items to a bowl and pan. The smallest one in length is the size a standard knife. The middle sized board is the size of a large cucumber. The large would fit an eggplant. They wash easily. The food does not stick to the cutting boards. The only thing that I did not like was that the largest cutting board will not hold a large food item if I need to cut anything up. Such as an entire chicken, but this isn't even an issue. All 3 cutting boards are a decent size.

I love kitchen gadgets, and I always think I could use another cutting board or three, especially when I'm cooking with my family. Here's my take on Freshware Reversible Cutting Boards (3). You get three cutting boards in graduated sizes in the package. Mine are white, with a silver-gray rubberized coating around both the top and bottom edges. There are little rubber buttons that act as feet to anchor the cutting board when you place it on your cabinet. There are feet on both sides of the cutting board, so whether you choose to use the side which has a 1/3” groove for liquids, or the other side, which is completely smooth, the feet will prevent the board from skidding around on the counter top. I store all my cutting boards on end in a tall cabinet, and the rubber helps keep the cutting boards from sliding down when I put them in the cabinet. One end of these boards has a handle, so it's easy to grab just the one you want from the cabinet. The instructions for care and use say that you can either wash them with dish detergent under running water, or put them in the dishwasher. Mostly I wash under running water, but once in a while, it's nice to be able to run them through a cycle in the dishwasher. The instructions warn against using the boards as hot mats with pans hot from the stove, nor are they safe to use in the microwave. They're made from food-grade plastic that is BPA-free. The only real quibble I have is with the sizes of the three boards. I know all cooks have different preferences, but the sizes don't really work for me all that often. I prefer a much larger surface than even the largest of the three boards offers. I'll try to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. The dimensions of the first board, the smallest, are 10 x 5.8 x .03 inches, about size of a Kindle E-reader. It might be useful for chopping one or two jalapeno peppers, but anything like dicing tomatoes and onions for pico de gallo or a salad would be too much for this little board. The second, or medium-sized, board is 12.4 x 7.8 x .03 inches. It's about the size of a yellow legal pad, and again it is too small to do much chopping unless you want to clear the board fairly often. The largest board, the one I use the most, is 16 x 9.8 x .03, and it's about the size of a laptop computer. It's the only one I can use without having to chop or dice in stages, removing the diced food to a holding container. When I chop, I want to get it all done at once without stopping. I haven't sliced or shredded beef, pork, or chicken on it, so I don't know if the juice channel, which looks a bit shallow, is up to dealing with juices from, say, a prime rib. I think this product is well-made, and useful, and you may find the sizes work well for you. Size is my only draw-back, so give them a try if you think they can earn a place in your kitchen rotation.
