D.Perlla Knife Set, 14 Pcs Kitchen Knives Set with Built-in Sharpener, German Stainless Steel Knife Sets with Block

Gotta say this did not disappoint. I read the reviews before purchasing and all of them said how sharp and durable they were so I gave it a shot. As long as you take care of them and hand wash and hand dry they will last years and never rust. NEVER leave them wet your just asking for rust at that point especially if your buying a nice set of knifes.

You shouldn't do that with a nice knife set to begin with, but if you DO put them through, just make sure you dry them off properly before you put them away and all the reviews about rust, or waterspots won't be an issue. Haven't had an issue in the couple months I've had them. Quite sharp, have a good weight, look nice and get the job done. For the price point I am impressed and enjoy my set every time I cook.

These are exactly as I had hoped, sharp, strong handle and look very nice sitting on the countertop. The one thing I would recommend is to not put them in the dishwasher. Wash by hand and dry right away, or they will start to rust almost instantly.

I wish I could have given these knives more than 5 stars !! The blades are the sharpest I've ever had in a knife yet they aren't heavy in your hand . I'm getting more sets for Christmas gifts .

These are beautiful knives (especially the blades!) with just very very slightly off-white color handles. Probably wouldn't notice the off-white, except I DO have two other knives from a different mfgr to round out my set and those two other knives definitely have pure bright white handles. If comparing, in my opinion, the pure bright white handles from the different mfgr actually look kinda cheap, and the D.Perilla shade of only slightly off-white looks much more expensive. I do keep them all lined up together on my magnetic wall knife holder, and even so, the handle color difference is only slightly noticeable. The D.Perlla set is sharp and feel hefty and comfortable in the hand. The two knives I purchased from a different mfgr are a serrated utility knife and a 5 inch santoku. The D.Perilla set does come with a 7 inch santoku included, which is fine, I just really prefer a 5 inch. If D.Perlla ever makes a serrated utility knife or a 5 inch santoku, I'm going to buy them. For maintenance, I give a quick hand rinse or hand wash after each use and wipe dry immediately so they look brand new. The scissors are super...they seem to be made for either right or left hand so it is easy to pick them up...you dont have to stop and turn the scissors around and fiddle with trying to fit your fingers and thumb into designated handle holes properly. It's a tiny thing, but I sure like that. Overall, this set of knives is terrific for my daily household use, and I'm very happy to have them. The price was very competitive, and they all arrived in perfect condition and well packed.

Super excited that we got the sale price on these that we did as we were looking to upgrade our old, worn down knives. Can’t beat the quality. They work really really well and are a major step up. Super sharp, super sleek looking, and a great addition to our cooking arsenal.

The block broke in half, knives feels good and seem like good quality, despite the fact I keep mistakenly thinking they’re still dirty when they come out of the wash, but the actual block the knives hold in broke into 2 pieces. Not sure who to contact, I might just glue it back together to avoid any hassle by contacting the seller, but just FYI the quality of the knives are much better than the cheap wood block.

only used a few weeks and can notice some visible rusting after short period in with moisture on it. blades have a nice look but if this continues and gets worse i will say poor quality. wouldn't buy again.

The Blades are starting to have chipped and nicked places in them. If i try to sharpen them it just gets worse, on several knives and are not cutting never as good anymore. I have inly had them 2 and half, 3 months. dont waste your money.
