I loved this product. I switched from clay litter. The only issue I have is now I can't find it. I have tried other pellets but Dr. Pol's is better.
We used these to displace clay versions that were a pain to dispose of and had odor issues. They dissolve with urine, so cleaning up is easier and when you flush solids into the toilet they disolve, which is better for the plumbing. We are very satisfied and highly recomend.
Works great, Natural Pine scent and Oder Control. Urine turns the Pine pellets into sand, just sift, bag and throw away. 40 LB bag lasts a long time with my two Cats .
i only got this brand because Walmart was out of the Feline Pine Original Cat Litter and i have to say it works just as good as that brand and was like 2 dollars cheaper when buying the 2- 40l bag deal. im very happy with it. and will buy buy again if it is a better deal again when i go to re buy..(ever 2 months)
Looks like pellets for rabbits %26 breaks down fast when used. Use two pans. Take a cheap litter pan, drill holes in it %26 wet litter falls into bottom pan keeping the top dry %26 odor free. Lasts a week even with multi cats. Only need a couple of scoops each change because it swells when used. Cats love it.
I like being able to get from Walmart. But the shipping too good, because the people that handle the packaging aren't careful and the package gets tore open making a big mess. The product is what we needed to keep the cats from tracking litter all over the place. We don't have the dust in the room. It is absorbent and does keep the smell out as well.
Both bags in this order was defective, the bottom of one had cuts in it %26 ripped at bottom, the 2nd bag was torn at the top %26 pulled inside the cardboard box. I stapled the top shut, only to find while carrying up 40lbs have the bottom split open %26 nearly half the bag spill out all falling down the stairs going everywhere. Whether it's from your/Walmart warehouse or how your/Walmart warehouse boxes it up but I found this to be unacceptable! Other then that, as for the pine litter I find it a good quality, having multiple cats it does the job.
I wanted this to work so badly but the pellets are just too large. My vet recommended an alternative litter after my kittens spay incision became infected. She cries and screams when she does %232 because she hates trying to bury with these large pieces. Other than that the product is fantastic. Her fur and wound stays clean, it's easy to scoop.
My cats would not use this litter. I did mix it in slowly with old litter so they could get used to the new texture and smell. The pieces were just too big and the cats stopped using their box. However, this worked amazing for helping to dry up old cans of paint.
My cat wouldn't use it %26 this is the only litter she's ever not used %26 I've tried a whole bunch of different litters believe me. Also, this is nothing to do with the product itself but it has to do with Wal-Marts shipping practices %26 they SUCK!! From the fed ex truck to my front door was a huge 2 ft wide lane of litter. it's hard telling how much was lost %26 when i opened the delivery box the bag that the litter comes in was busted all the way down the side. I had to put it in a tote %26 then I have it away bc it was useless to me %26 my cat. So thank goodness it was only $17 %26 change bc any more %26 is be really upset considering the whole situation!
