needing a washing hose,..fast this hose did the job. quick to arrive, directions on package (cut to fit),longer than most washing machine hoses and affordable too. I did order one that was to be permanent, this did not work out. instead I kept this hose under review..
This works perfectly for my portable washer the one that it had installed it was not long enough, and also the hook was not big enough for my sink, BUT when I got this attachment, I was able to easily attach it to the end of the original hose and it can reach all the way to the tub!
I bought these to hook my washer up to the drain which was about 20 feet away from the electrical outlet. They work. Installation was pretty straightforward and simple, and they aren't showing any signs of leaking. I have two strung together and connecting them together was also simple. Would definitely recommend.
This product got me out of a major headache. Did not fit perfectly due to the angle on the laundry machine but still worked fine. Needed something urgent and cheaply priced and this did the job great. Will for sure recommend and buy again.
Easy to cut and install! Hangs right on the edge of the sink securely to drain unlike my last one that I had to weigh down, this one is much more convenient!!!
Exactly what I was needing
yes it works.but for how long?the end that you trim to fit the outlet is very thin rubbery type plastic.it is always wrinkled and twisted no matter what angle it's at.hose is 6 foot so you may have to set the trap piece to take up the slack
First negative review I've given in years. I had a slight leak at my washer drain hose. I figured this is cheap enough I'll just swap it out when I'm back there checking for the leak. NOPE....my mistake...read on.... This product is GARBAGE. The washer connection is SUPER WEAK, worst design ever, the rubber is extremely THIN and flimsy. If you bend it all, it totally collapses! Unless your drain is directly behind your washer, forget about it. The slightest bend pinches those off! HORRIBLE design from an engineering standpoint! When clamped, your clamp will almost cut through the thin rubber. The hose is so weak it collapsed under its own weight at the crap connector joint. I didn't even bother pushing my washer back in place after seeing how poorly this hose installed. I immediately removed it and reverted back to my old one. My old hose looked like it was a $500 one next to this trash. It has a rigid connector about 30x thicker than the Dr. Rooter one and the hose/drain-end were 100x the quality. I ended-up repairing my old connector and returning the craptastic Dr. Rooter. SPEND THE MONEY AND BUY A REAL WASHER DRAIN. Getting a flood inside your house from a $10 hose is NOT WORTH IT. As dumb as it may sound, a washer hose is an absolutely critical piece for every house. A leak can cause catastrophic damage, especially if your washer is on an upper floor. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
The plastic is too soft when you go to Use the washer when it's draining the hose collapses and won't let it pump the water all the way out you have to pump water three or four times and drain. My washer is brand new and I've never had a problem with it. The only reason I had to replace the other hose was because over the winter prevent it from freezing I put a heat lamp near it and it kind of melted the original drain tube, but this one's a pile of crap I would not recommend it to anyone.
there i no strength to the hose. At the end connection to the washer, unless the hose shoots straight outwards, the hose kinks too easily. Don't waste your money on this item.
