Dr. Scholl's Fast Acting Callus Remover Gel Kit, Foot File Pedicure Tool Included

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked pretty good! It's a little messy, and awkward to apply. After applying the liquid, I felt like I needed to prop my leg so my feet wouldn't touch anything while I waited for it to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is constantly on his feet working, which leads to callused feet, making him an ideal candidate for the Dr. Scholl's Fast-Acting Callus Remover Gel Kit. He has tried other similar products on the market, but none were as effective. After having the opportunity to try this kit, he's impressed with how well it works. However, the instructions weren't as clear as he would have liked. After he finally realized he had to unscrew the lid to remove the safety seal from the bottle, the rest of the instructions were easy to understand. The gel applicator is in an easy-to-squeeze tube with a soft brush head. The application was easy peasy and provided a no-touch, mess-free solution, while the ingredients work wonders. He really appreciates how well the foot file worked with its slightly bent neck for easier exfoliation of his calluses, resulting in fast-acting removal. He now boasts about how the kit leaves his feet, feeling soft, smooth, and healthier-looking! The aloe ingredient is definitely his favorite for soothing his feet and making them feel better. Moreover, he appreciates that the scent isn't bad. Overall, it only takes about 20 minutes in total, and my husband was satisfied with the results. He will continue to use the kit and recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed by how quick and easy this process was- just soak your feet for 5 min in warm water & dry, cover callused spots with gel, wait 5 min, rinse & dry, and then use the included pedi tool to remove dead skin. After this short process my feet felt like I'd just come from a pedicure. A game changer after my feet have been in boots all winter!

"Brush" is useless, it would be better with a sponge. The gel kind of worked, the file did remove the softened dead skin. Over all it did what it claimed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spend a lot of time outdoors and barefoot during the summer so I guess you can say I am the perfect candidate to a callous remover out. I like the fact that it's a more gentle callous remover, however with that comes the processing time - 5 minutes really isn't a long time, but with a busy toddler I need to chase around it can feel like an eternity that I have to sit still with the gel on my feet. It worked moderately well for me, but on some of the more difficult/bigger calluses like on the sides of my big toe it didn't seem to help too much. The rest of my foot/feet feels great though! I like the handle on the tool, makes it easier to use - I also appreciate the size of the tool.

It hasn't taken callus away yet but it is slowly breaking down.

The instructions are kind of bizarre, which led me to find what was touted as an easy pedicure type solution was actually kind of difficult. You're supposed to put the gel on your feet for five minutes and then rinse it off. I suppose if you had a basin, it would be easier, but I did it after the shower, and then I had to walk over to the sink to rinse my feet from the gel while getting the gel all over the carpet in the floor on the way there. The gel doesn't really make the calluses come off any easier than they would with just a regular foot file. I did appreciate the bent neck of the file in the kit, as I found it was easier to grip (but didn't enjoy the file itself - if it had been glass instead of that sandpaper sticker type stuff I'd would've been a holy grail item), but besides that I didn't really see any significant difference compared to just using a file. The gel seemed like an extra step that made it more complicated, messier and didn't make a big difference. I'll continue to test it, but my initial use, following the instructions as printed, was lackluster. 

It did not work. gel burnt so skin. Callus file is to smooth.

This fast acting gel removing kit has NOT been effective for my callus !
