I tried this because one of my sons were sleeping poorly. I noticed with the first use that it helped him sleep better! I used a little bit as well when I bathed and it did help me relax!
take away my pain and helps me sleep
I will be honest, I didn't believe that I would see a huge difference in ability to rest in my child after using this product but I was wrong. My daughter has a hard time winding down before bed and this has brought her so much relaxation. We are able to relax and cuddle and she actually stays asleep through the night without so much tossing and turning.
We normally do a bubble bath for my 18m old. He loves it and it calms him down for bedtime. But we've been using these salts recently and he is in LOVE! They smell amazing and are so fun to sprinkle into the tub. He runs into the bathroom to sprinkle the salts. My husband enjoys the smell too!
The Dr Teals Kids Melatonin Epsom Salt Soak has made bedtime for my 2 yr old so much easier. It usually takes at least a couple hours to get him to wind down but after using the Epsom salt during his bath the Melatonin calms him and he's out with the hour.
Seen this next to the melatonin kids soap.. it said *new* I'm not crazy about having epsom salt in my house with kids BUT… I will buy 1000 bags lol and lock them away. This stuff works almost instantly. I barely got through getting to my kids hair before they were fussing to go to bed. They fell asleep within 15 minutes of a bath. I won't use it too frequently but when it's been a long day for mama… yes lol I'd give it 10 stars if possible. Love it…!
I recommend this to anyone! I believe it truly helps my son sleep better now. We got this soak for the bath and the lotion. I love them both he sleeps through the night now. Its deff worth a shot I know every kid will be different, my son is 3 and I use a little lotion on him before his naps and then at night time he gets the bath soak!
This stuff smells so good! I put it in my girls bath everytime she takes one (3x a week about). I cant speak for the relaxing/sleepy time parts but, I know epsom salts are good in the bath and this stuff is like aromatherapy. Wish i took more baths!
So, I have always been a huge fan of dr. Teals and when I discovered that there was a new line designed for kids, I could not wait to try it! My experience with the kids dr. Teals soak has been okay. The quality is was you would expect from a normal bag of Epsom salt. The smell is AMAZING, I seriously love the smell of this soak and would use it for myself for the smell alone. My kids had no negative reaction to it. But, it seemed to not really help my 3 year old it the sleep department. She was still very hyper and not so ready for bed. Maybe if I add in the other products that come with the line it would increase that calmness to get her to at least sit in the bed lol. She is in fact, a very hard egg to Crack. Though I will continue to buy it because I enjoy the kid friendly factor and maybe I just need to play with the amounts of soak i use since our tub is very deep and holds a large amount of water. I love the smell and my daughter and I had no bad reactions to it so that alone I would recommend. Though the melatonin part didn't fully work for me it is still a thing for me to trial and it could be a totally different reaction with another child.
