Was super excited to get this DBZ game at such a great price! Item is exactly as described. Will make a perfect Christmas gift for my kids, thank you!
It was a few days late but now that it is here I am super excited
it a fun game
Got this for a 10 year old boy for Christmas as it was in his Christmas list! He was a very happy and excited little boy to open it and start to play it!
It's not the same as the other Dragon Ball games that are currently out right now, instead of fighting it's about trying to survive or escape. 8 players, 1 plays as the raider who hunts down 7 survivors and the survivors have different skills and abilities to help them survive or fight back, as the round progress both the raider and survivors get stronger by helping civilians, finding stuff in item boxes as a survivor or killing civilians and survivors as the raider. 2 problems I have with this game is the gacha mechanic, after every round you get zeni or if your lucky a ticket by leveling up your survivor with this you can spend it and get a new skill or abilities but it's up to luck if you get some new and useful or get something that you already have, which makes it hard to survive for a long period of time as a player due to the lack of good skills and abilities. Raider also suffers from a similar problem, if you want a new raider you will have to grind for the premium currency or buy some with real money old one cost 550 and new ones cost 750, if you want more premium currency you can grind the battle pass, level up your survivor or have Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo switch version if you have that game you get rewards for both games by completing quests you will want to do these because the rewards are really good for DB: The Breaker and Xenoverse 2.
My 7 year old has recently gotten into DBZ and this game is so cute. He loves it. It reminds me of Pokémon. Highly recommend this game, even for adults. You do have to have the Nintendo online subscription in order to play so i rated 4 stars because of that.
My son loves the game we thought it didn't work initially but you have to buy a subscription through e-shop for it to work that's the reason I gave 4 stars
I brought it for my son for Christmas and i know he will love it
As a young adult, with enough games in my library to pick wisely, "Dragon Ball: The Breakers" feels like a misstep, even for a fan of the franchise. This asymmetrical multiplayer survival concept could have brought something fresh to the Dragon Ball world, but it sadly stumbles, if not outright falls, in execution. From the start, the game presents frustratingly loose controls that make dodging or running from enemies more chore than thrill. The unreliable camera only adds to the chaos, leaving players disoriented instead of immersed. To make matters worse, technical issues are rampant, and the lack of crossplay means you're often left hanging while waiting for matches. It's a game that's online-only but barely justifies the subscription required to play. While some may find novelty in the hide-and-seek mechanics, for me, it felt more like a chore than genuine fun. I'd much rather spend my time replaying better-crafted games with tighter mechanics and clearer design. If you're looking for something memorable, unfortunately, this "Breakers" edition is likely one you'll want to skip. Save your money, and more importantly, your time.
The original language is Japanese but there's an option to switch it to English and I have changed it over and over but still the sound is in Japanese but the settings is saying it's changed to English very disappointed because I bought it for my son so now when he's playing I have to sit there and read the subtitles for him to be able to play this stupid game!
