Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

The pro controller feels awesome in your hands. Feels like a xbox 360 controller except smaller the trigger buttons felt smooth it just feels solid and sturdy fits perfect in your hands i only buy first party accessories third party feels cheap it may cost a little more but worth it in the long run

Both of the controllers I bought were fake. When held next to a real Pro Controller it’s pretty easy to spot. Poor quality, is lighter, the button feel very loose. Even the packaging has the word “Controll er” misspelled y having a space at the end of the work. Don’t be fooled. Returning these. Wet disappointed with Walmart.

We purchased this Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as a Christmas gift in 2025. Upon opening it, it looked perfectly fine. No cosmetic damage, both the box and the controller had the Nintendo logos, and it paired with the Switch easily. After a few playing sessions, we noticed occasional input delay when playing about 8-10 ft away from the Switch. We attempted updating the controller hoping it would fix the issue. Trying to update via wired failed. Trying to update it wirelessly, the update was stuck at 0%. We restarted the Switch, disconnected the controller, re-paired it per Nintendo Support's instructions, but the update still failed. In researching the issue, we came across a website that stated controllers that won't update are most likely not authentic. In further research of these counterfeit Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers compared to the authentic ones, we found a few videos demonstrating ways to determine whether or not a controller was real based on a few factors. The controller we received had the same THX2ALLGAMEFANS message as real controllers under the joystick, and had the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo logos on the front and back, but the HD rumble of authentic pro controllers in videos sounded a little different from the controller we received, which was concerning. Upon examining the packaging, we found that there was a space between the "dot" and com on one of the URLs on the bottom of the box. We also found subtle differences between the Nintendo logos on the controller box and on our Nintendo Switch box including that the WI on the SWITCH part of the controller box's Nintendo Switch logo was shorter than the rest on the letters (Image attached). While doing more online research, we found that the silver sticker on the right side of the controller isn't present on authentic Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers (Image attached). When comparing the weight of the controller to the specifications on Nintendo's website, there was a 30-gram difference, (216g vs. 246g of an authentic controller) (Image attached). We also confirmed that the controller did not have HD rumble, due to the fact that the motors in the grips of authentic controllers are silver, whereas the motors in the controller we received were black. By this point, it was clear that the controller did not match specifications and was likely a counterfeit.

It’s pretty crazy this has such high reviews and is listed under Nintendos name, but it’s not actual Nintendo controller. It’s very obviously a fake based on the box. Shame on Walmart for keeping this listing up with so many obviously dissatisfied customers.

THIS IS NOT A NINTENDO PRODUCT. Walmart is clearly labeling these as a Nintendo Official Pro Controller, however the one sold by HUFEN tongshanxiangongfenshangmaoyouxiangongsi IS NOT. I just received mine and on the box it exclaims that it is not a Nintendo product. I guess the $30 for this was too good to be true.

NOT A REAL CONTROLLER. Packaging is very convincing at first glance, but as many other users have pointed out, this is not a real controller. "Controller" is spelled on the box as "Controll er", which I checked, is not present on any official box. Image quality on the box is also very low. The controller inside was very cheap, you can tell it's fake just by holding it.

The package arrived damaged. I should have returned it then. The joystick on this controller never worked properly. It was stiff and jerked around. I'm new to gaming and just thought would smooth out over time. It hasn't so I asked my son who is a gamer and he said its bad and return. It's past the 30 days so the best I can do is one write a review. You're better off with a cheap power A controller.

This is not an OEM controller. it is a low quality 3rd party impersonation. It works, but these are 12-15$ and being sold illegally impersonating OEM controllers.

This is a fake controller, did not come with charging cable. Color is different, weight is off. Error on box. Waste of time. Check your controllers and return them!

The items received were counterfeits not made by Nintendo. Inferior build quality, would not take firmware updates, missing features like HD rumble and NFC. Easiest tell is the lettering on the face buttons being very uneven on the counterfeit controllers.
