Mario Kart 8 Deluxe racing video game (Nintendo Switch)

First, my family LOVES this game. This is the second copy purchased by myself. ONLY because my family loves this game so much will I pay $60 for a twelve year old game. The graphics are still decent. There are plenty of tracks to show your lack of skill on (lol especially if you're me). It's definitely fun to play with others. It'll show you who has "good sportsman like conduct" for sure. Now, if they'd remake Double Dash, all would be right with the world.

My kid has been wanting this since the days he played it on the Wii U. This was a great find. It was approximately ten dollars cheaper than anywhere else, with quick shipping. Turned up in perfect shape, with no issues at all. Many hours have been logged on this great game. I even shocked my kid by joining in and immediately taking second place to his first.

good game for 45$ I really am glad that I was able to pick this up on sale, got same day store pickup and delivery within the end of my night and god it was so worth it

i always love nintendo games. finding this high demand switch game for such a discount was great! it is generally sixty dollars. i spent fifty. those kinds of deals are hard to find for video games, especially nintendo ones! i also was very shocked and happy to see that my shipping was free :) and it came pristine and in perfectly working condition!

The freakishly realistic graphics are mind-blowing and take some getting used to before you can appreciate their awesomeness, but the courses are so varied and delightful! It's not quite as chaotic as Double Dash (whether you find that good or bad is up to you). My favorite thing is that the courses AND the characters come from all over the Nintendo world, including LINK from The Legend of Zelda!!! It's weird at first, seeing different characters like that and the Inklings (from Splatoon) in Mario Kart, but then you put Link on that ancient bike and it gets really awesome really quickly! There are new weapons, you get to glide in some places, or even go under water, and the courses are so imaginative! It's great fun, and you can use the joystick or the tilt controls to drive! Link driving a motorcycle in Mario Kart, dodging cute cows and moles from Harvest Moon, or Mario zooming down the streets of Hyrule.... how do you put that into words ?!?!? :D

This Mario kart is so much better than the others! Don’t get me wrong, Mario kart has always been an amazingly fun game, but this one!!! It’s amazing. You can play as link and so many other new characters and the vehicle choices seem limitless. The graphics are insanely detailed as well. I would definitely recommend this game to any Mario kart lovers

It's mostly nostalgia for me from the DSI days but now in 2026 it's just cool. I do lowkey regret buying it. The quality is good, highly competitive but also repetitive. It's definitely a game to play for a day and get bored. I do think it's overrated but it's not a bad game.

Love the game!! Graphics much improved from my last MarioKart which was in the Wii. Only issue is having to close out game while in Grand Prix mode at the end of 4 races. It goes to credits insteach of game select Didn’t do this initially and I’m still searching for a fix. We just switched the “Vs” mode for now. And just for clarification purposes I’m a 63 year old female retired teacher who loves to have fun!!

It’s a great game! Brings back some nostalgia. Only down fall that I hate is if you want to have all the tracks unlocked you have to pay extra. In my opinion they should all be unlocked considering you’re paying 60$ for the game. Then you have to pay another 40 for the others to be unlocked.

I did curbside pick up. Bought groceries and Bought this game. For a birthday present for a seven year old, but they already had it I didn’t even take it out of the bag. Went to bring it back for a refund. The game had been already split open and the cartridge was missing store would not give me a refund because it was open so I called corporate. Explain to them what was going on They gave me a refund. Always check to see if your games are open before you buy them. I recommend not doing curbside I learned my lesson.
