One of the best for stubborn clogs (not requiring plumber intervention) .... Rarely requires multiple treatments. Works on all drains .... Says not to use on toilets, but, when used properly and not combined with a plunger the product will effectively clear "normal" clogs (not involving foreign objects).
Works fast and efficiently. If your drain is totally clogged just pour in directly over the drain, the gel will sink through the water into the drain. If you are experiencing slow draining, close the stopper, fill the sink or tub with enough water that will take some time to drain then pour in the gel. Another method would be to pour into an open drain but listen to it as it fills up and stop when it sounds like the elbow part of the drain is full. Let it sit for an hour or more before running the water. After this the water should drain freely. It is good to always keep a couple of bottles on hand.
I mean, who doesn’t like getting their pipes cleaned. It’s so satisfying just to see it slide in so easy knowing that in a few minutes everything‘s going to flow. I like doing it in the bathtub or the shower…. Never on the toilet though, it’s too risky.
My shower was backing up, lots of blechy water - yuck. I didn’t think the Drano Max would work but it did! I left it sit and then rinsed as directed and the water ran right on down. Amen. So much cheaper than a plumber. :) I think my clog was just hair, conditioner, soap scum and general drain ick.
Quickly open my drains, From drain slow. very easy to use . try to get it in the drain hold. if it gets around the outer areas of drain it can tarnish unless you wipe area before letting product sit in drain for 20 mins
I used this product in conjunction with a sink plunger and it worked great! We had standing water and within 30 minutes the drain was flowing like new again!
This stuff worked amazing! I had a super tough clog in my garbage disposal and in my right side sink from leftover potato out of corn chowder that my girl dumped in the garbage disposal I dumped one bottle down the normal drain and let it sit for a couple hours and then did another dose and washed it with hot water and it was absolutely gone save me a couple hundred dollar plumber bill I've also use this stuff to get tough hair clogs in the bathtub out and it works great highly recommended.
We have very low water pressure in our bathroom and the sink is forever backing up. Other brands haven't cleared the backup even when using an entire bottle's worth of applications. This product didn't clear it in one go, but definitely got it flowing by the third application. Best result we've had yet!
This is supposed to remove all clogs and fix slow drains, but it doesn't. It turned a clogged bathtub drain into a slow-moving drain, but it did nothing for the sink that was draining slowly. The smell isn't overwhelming, but that matters little when it's so ineffective.
I ended up using both bottles thinking it would make some difference and it made zero difference in improving the clog in the kitchen drain. The money back guarantee is a bit of a scam too because they only refund up to $7/household and so the two bottles arent covered.
