It worked very quickly on my bathtub and bathroom sick. It was clogged with hair and toothpaste. It really took about 30 minutes before I ran hot water down behind it. I plan to repeat this procedure every month for my own mind. I live in an old apartment building been here every since 1999. Do not plan to move my location is perfect for transportations right in front of building going and coming.
I was very pleased with the smell. There was no problem with my bathroom pipe. The Ease Of Use is just incredible and the fact that you only have to use a half a bottle to remove a Clog is great. This is the second time I've purchased this and I will not use anything but this because it works so well and so worth the money and she definitely get it. I highly recommend it.
We noticed our kitchen sink was being at least partly blocked so we decided to try this. Less than six bucks and seemed like others recommended it. Easy to use and it worked, too. Instead of a high priced plumber we were able to do this ourselves. And we still half a bottle left for future use.
Drano Max Gel Clog Remover worked exactly as advertised. My shower drain was completely backed up with hair, and this product cleared it fast. I poured it in, waited the recommended time, and the clog dissolved with no effort. The water drains perfectly now. Definitely a reliable solution for tough hair clogs.
Pros: Thick gel formula works well even with standing water in the drain Helps break down hair and common bathroom sink or tub clogs Easy first option before trying expensive plumbing repairs Cons: Strong chemical smell while using it May not fully clear severe or deep clogs Requires careful handling because it's a harsh chemical product Summary: Overall, Drano Max Gel is one of those products that's worth keeping around for annoying everyday drain problems. It's quick, convenient, and can save a lot of frustration when sinks or tubs start draining slowly. While it won't magically solve every plumbing issue, it does a solid job on common household clogs and can buy you time before needing professional help.
Fast action and affordable. This Drano was not the most expensive one and I was suprised at how well it worked. I had a tub that had backed up and was filled with water. I attempted to plunge it with no change. I bought the drano and it quickly and efficiently solved the problem and we saved on having a plumber out.
My daughter and I have super fine long hair, and although we clean our drain every day after using the shower, there are still some hair strands that will obviously pass through. Once a year we treat the shower with this drano to clear any build up in your pipes or possible build up. We think of it as preemptive care. A $6 bottle once a year is way better than $300 for a plumber that will leave your bathub, sink, and kitchen filthy.
I was wraised watching my grandma %26 my mama use draino in our sinks %26 bathtub drains SO to me this is what anyone is expected to do with theirs, either once a year or for safety concerns use it twice a year to get fast moving drainis and you are guaranteed that your drains will always flush thru easily.
This Drano works really well for small clogs and even gets the water moving (most of the time) for those larger hair clogs until you can call a plumber. I think it's worth the money to try it since plumbers aren't cheap. But that's not a complaint, they earn their money.
I bought this because Walmart was out of what I normally use. The drain was running slow, but not clogged. I let it stand longer than required , but I had to use the rest of the bottle and let it sit overnite. It did NOT work! (well, it let it flow a tiny bit better...but I had to buy my regular go to!) It was really a waste of my money...
