These pins are great for piecing and quilting. They are thin and sharp, penetrating fabric easily. And their length helps them stay in place. You don't have to worry about the glass bead pin heads melting when pressing seams. Will definitely buy again.

Works very well on damask and brocade. A very fine pin creates very small holes. Hot iron does not melt with hot iron.

I have bought other pins that aren't sharp are difficult to get through anything thick. These are thin, long and super sharp. I haven't had any problems with bending on thicker fabrics like I thought I might. I like that they are longer so they are easier to grab.. I only wish they weren't from China, that's why only four stars.

My sewing instructor told me to purchase these pins. Since her instructor recommended them to her, my instructor purchased these pins and has stuck with them since. They are thinner for the "feet" to go over and you can pull them out better than the older pins that I've been using.

The package of pins I bought at least 20% of them have a bur on them. You feel it when trying to pin fabric together. It is like using a pin with no point.
