Another Excellent Product from Olfa
I have been using Olfa rotary cutting supplies for years, including Olfa Rotary Cutters. Recently, two of my cats have been showing too much interest in one of my cutters and, for the first time,I nicked a fingertip on the blade. So, I decided to try the Olfa Deluxe Rotary Cutter, which offers several improvements, such as a button that locks the blade closed and a self-retracting blade. Of course, as with any sharp cutting device, one must always be careful with the Olfa Deluxe Rotary Cutter. But I find the improvements to be significant. In addition the Olfa Deluxe Rotary can be used by those who are right handed and those who are left handed.

My favorite rotary cutter!
Love this cutter! I have others, but this one is ergonomic which makes it easy to use. I heard someone say on a quilting video that this particular cutter is best when used by someone who is petite. There may be something to that because my other cutters don't work as well as this one and I am petite.

Olfa rotary cutter - arthritis friendly.
The reason I love this cutter is that it is very easy to lock it. - it does it automatically. Others had a level to pull back and because I have arthritis it was difficult sometimes.

Great product
Very sharp and nice to have the guard when you release the handle. Cuts through many layers at a time...also fingers, keep them out of the way. Use this daily for quilting and cutting stabilizers for machine embroidery.

Quilter basic
This is a basic rotary cutter. It is well made and lightweight. The blade is stable and secure. I bought this for a 12 year old that is learning to quilt.

I suffer from carpal tunnel oh this helped so much i hardly have to press down at all it just glides through very happy with product!

Safety First
This cutter is billed as one that can take a pinking blade; I put the pinking blade to use in my quilting. I find this cutter with the pinking in it could nick your hand with the raised part of the pinking blade. The cutter works well and safely other than this problem. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The wrong item was shipped. I was sent only the replacement blades. I ordered the OLFA DELUXE Rotary Cutter 45 mm I am reliant on this product as part of my craft. Now there will be an additional 1 to 2 week waiting time because someone in the shipping department is unable to follow simple orders.
