Fiskars 24" x 36" Self-Healing Double-Sided Cutting Mat, Gray and White

Easy to read markings. Measurements marked in 1/4 in increments, makes it easy to line up and cut materials. I bought mine for cutting fondant shapes for a gingerbread house. The large size gives me room to both cut shapes and leave them in place to dry. The 24" depth fits perfecctly on my countertop. Don't expose it to heat. I made the mistake of working with isomalt on my previous cutting board, which warped it. Won't make that mistake with this one.

I use thess cutting matson my work bench, home office dest and work tables to protect the surface top and these are excellant for this purpose. When measuring the surface to cover, such as your 72x24" work bench to allow for the additinal half inch around on the 36x24" cutting mat. I hav my original mat now for a couple of years and it is still protecting the work bench surface. These mats are double sided but I elected to glue tool box (foam) liner to one side to prevent the mat from sliding around. All things considered I consider these well worth the price.

I use this self healing mat all the time and have been for years. Throughout the years I've seen the price more than double. I've price checked and Walmart has the best price. They do get beat up after years of use. I used a heat gun on something that I placed on this mat-it warped the mat. I rotary cut fabric on it frequently and it stands up well.

This cutting mat makes it so easy to protect furniture surfaces while using a cutting wheel to cut material for my quilt patterns. It self heals from cuts so it has sturdiness and durability all in one. I just love having a good item to help me along in my sewing adventures.

I have needed a large self-healing cutting mat for a while now. I have smaller ones but did not feel I could spend the money on this size. When I saw the price I knew my time had come! I am so proud of it and it will be utilized as I cut out my quilt squares and crafts. It is easy to use and will protect the table.

I saved $15.00 on this cutting mat and everthing about it is great. The only downside was that it arrived without any packaging. None. Not even a thin piece of plastic to cover it. I was lucky that the driver took good care of it and it did not arrive with a scratch on it, just needed to be wiped down due to dust.

I looked at several brands before purchasing this cutting mat. I gave it four stars, for two reasons. 1. The smell is very strong and not pleasant. I hope it goes away soon 2. The numbers only run in one direction. I wish it did both, but I did use a sharpie so that they are now both ways. I do love the square markings in the center of the mat, and the light and dark gray colors. There are many brands that are more expensive that don't have those features. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this mat to replace one (same brand and size) that I had been using for 10 years. The reason for the low rating is the Fiskars sticker. I carefully peeled it off but it left a very sticky residue. It won't come off! I've used alcohol, dish soap, and goo-gone. I know I can use the other side and I have but it sticks to my table. I called the customer service number only to have a machine tell me to email. I did that. I got an auto-reply saying it would take 6-8 weeks before they would get back to me. It's very frustrating.

I paid full price for someone’s returned mat that looks like it’s gone to war 3 times, was mauled by a pack of wolves , and smokes 6 packs a day. I ordered online with the intention of an easy add on to some groceries. I was in a pinch for time and figured it would be easy to have when I got home to start working on my project. I was wrong. As you can see from the pictures, this self healing mat has been through some things it could not heal from. I had to take it back up to the store for an exchange on the weekend delaying my project I have already been procrastinating a smidge more and wouldn’t be surprised if they were to sit it back out to sale for full price by Monday.

Not for cutting patterns. I used my rotary cutter, the mat didn't self heal instead left a big slice and I'm sure it won't last me for more than one project. I was surprised seeing it in person it's extremely thin. Right away I knew it was bad quality. I DO NOT RECOMMEND to any seamstress.
