Fiskars Die Cast Craft Knife, Gray and Orange

The Fiskar's Heavy duty knife with a standard 11 blade comes with a full lifetime warranty. The quality construction of this tool is quite fascinating to me. The heavy, but not too heavy weight of it, feels just right to handle. Light enough to where I don't feel like I could break it and sturdy enough to be able to last a very long time. It doesn't feel cheap at all. The orange soft grip touch points are a wonderful touch, preventing your hand from slipping while making precise cuts or strokes. I would find is very convenient if you could store extra blades in the handle somehow. It seems thick enough to be able to do that, but not necessary. The blade is incredibly sharp and durable as well. It cuts construction paper without any effort, while still feeling complete control of the tool. Just by unscrewing the handle and holding the top, you can replace the blade. It's pretty simple if that is ever needed. The cap is a clear, plastic cover. It slightly snaps on to prevent the blade from being exposed. I think it should snap on a little more securely, but that's about the only thing that I have to complain about. This is very nice heavy duty knife, my husband definitely approves of it and asks to borrow it all of the time.

I love Fiskars brands. The best brands are always die cast and are always the sharpest. Fiskars makes the next craft knives and best craft materials! Personally, I collect a lot of action figures arnd do alot of customizing to those figures and different figures have different sized ball joints for arms, legs and heads. I use the craft knife for working the ball joint holes so they make a secure fit, yet are still able to move freely. I have found fiskars brands to be the sharpest and easiest to handle with the rubber grip for security. It keeps your fingers from slipping and slicing your finger open. Plus it's simple to change out the blades, just a simple twist. I would highly recommend to any and all crafters. It's a must have! I wouldn't craft without it! The Fiskars Die Cast Craft Knife is the perfect craft knife. It has an orange rubber grip to prevent slipping when using the knife, and because this blade is so sharp that is a really important feature. The rest of the handle is a strong stainless steel and is the right thickness and length to grip and hold for a steady cut. The blades are also removable and replaceable. Just unscrew from the end and swap out a new sharp blade once the old one dulls. Great for crafts of all types. I love this knife and highly recommend it. It's perfect!

Works great to cut things precisely. I do a lot of projects with vinyl and my silhouette machine and this is a great, convenient and handy addition to my tools I have to work with. It cuts through my vinyl with no problem. It is way better than other brands I’ve previously used. It has a soft rubber grip on it. I love the grip on it which adds comfort and keeps me from getting sores on my fingers when using it often. Other brands have rough metal grips that seem to actually cause pain rather than comfort. The blade is easy to change out and has a secure lid to cover the blade while not in use. Overall, it’s a great tool at a great price and better than others I’ve used in the past. Worth every penny.

The Fiskars die cast craft knife is nicely made,comfortable rubber ,pencil like grip for control.Easy blade replacement with a simple twist of the handle.The blade is held securely and safely in place after sliding it into a snug slot and twisting the handle clockwise.The Fiskars is a great craft knife and very handy to have around the house,shop or garage for multiple uses,hobbies and crafts.It works well for removing small plastic,model parts from their sprues with its very sharp blade,nicely balanced handle and sure grip makes it a pleasure to use.

Works great to cut things precisely. I do a better job cutting a striaght line now lol, I do a lot of crafting and i sometimes cut foam boards and those are to hard to cut with sissors so i was glad to be able to get this knife it is so much better and eaiser to cut and snap. This knife has a soft orange rubber grip for comfort, and to prevent slipping. The blade is super easy to change out. Just unscrew from the end and change it. It also has a clear protective lid to keep it covered while it is not being used. The rest of the handle is made of a strong stainless steel. My only concern with this knife is the blade keeps on falling out while i am using it i have tightened it and still it falls out. I have tried to hook it to the little knot and it will not hook to that. Not sure what is wrong but this might need some re-adjusting to hold it in better. Overall I really like the knife as it comes in handy for alot of things.

The Softgrip feature on this knife is great and holding it while cutting is very comfortable, with no hand cramps, readjusting the grip, etc. Changing the blade is a breeze and it tightens easily to secure the blade in place. My only complaint is the cap that protects the blade; it comes off too easily and won't snap onto the end of the knife while the knife is in use. This cap will end up getting lost. It's clear and will likely be misplaced. If they had a "snap" feature for the cap when over the blade and made the cap so it would also stay on the dull end while in use this tool would be perfect!

Does not work,,someone used it before i got it and the knife part will not stay in the hole where it is suppose to go,,,
