Great for crochet kit
These work great! Super sharp. These are for adults, even though they do have an attached safety guard that is easy to use. You push the button and slide the middle upwards at the same time and it covers the blade tips. They fit perfectly in my hand, and are perfect for my crochet kit.

My favorite pair of thread snippers to date! Love these! They don't get hung up or stuck and I love the added safety feature that covers the tips when not in use.

Faster and neater
I've been sewing for over 50 years. I was surprised with how much faster and neater snipping threads happened using the Clip Snip. I especially like the easy grip and the protective closing device.

The Best Snips Available
Love these snips, not quite as much as the green ones they had in a previous style, but more than any other. The handles are big enough that I dont fear them slipping and snipping off a slice of my finger. THe color helps you see them as well. Good value

Not as expected
I bought this item to use while making my rag quilt for all the thread cutting and strings that would need snipping. I had it for 3 days. First off, it had metal blades surrounded by plastic and also had this cute little slide locking mechanism that was nice. It was easy to grip and a great fit to my hands and was working perfectly for my project. They were very sharp too. But, as I was snipping away unwanted threads the tiny spring between the blades just popped off and the blades were stuck together on my quilt. It didn't take much to get them loose but, I never found that little spring and the snips just didn't work right after losing it. I returned them to Walmart for a refund and am currently looking for another pair. I did email Fiskars, but they had a notation that they no longer sell products on their website and it would be 3-4 weeks before getting to my request. I would suggest a more durable pair.
