Drive Medical Walker Basket with Plastic Insert Tray and Cup Holder, Aluminum, Compatible with 1" Folding Walkers

I purchased this item for a friend who is 89yrs old and recovering from a fractured hip. She "LOVES" it!! she just marvels at how much stuff she can cram into it. She is a very talented seamstress, and has made a little cover for it so nothing falls through when she strolls around with her walker.

I put this on my walker and used it for several days but it was wonky. Unbalanced and would things would tip. That is UNTIL I discovered the "leg braces." Once I found those, it was SO much better. Not noticing them was a "duh" moment and I was very displeased. But now - it's a great addition to getting my morning coffee, papers and small things to my chair. Yes, I would recommend this and I'm very pleased (now!) that I purchased it.

I have a basket on my rented scooter that has helped me carry around a few things I need. When I bought the walker I knew I needed a basket for it also. It's especially helpful in the kitchen to hold dinner ware etc. I also take it with me to the store for little items.

This basket is very well made and fits on the Drive walker perfectly. The insert is great. It keeps items from falling through the basket bottom, and the built in drink area is a plus.

Some reviews have stated that this basket (Drive Medical Walker Basket) did not come with the plastic insert. Ours did, but it would have been no great loss if it had not. It is ridiculously flimsy, but I guess it does help a water bottle stand upright, so it is not entirely useless. The basket is simple enough that it should fit on almost any walker. It's easy to put on and take off as needed.

I was disappointed the cup holder doesn't accommodate a cup (coffee mug) and that the top hook can't be secured tightly (like the older models that came with velcro) but it does work pretty well and good for the price.

I have a "drive" walker %2310210-4ASM I have been using due to a bad hip and upcoming replacement surgery. I read the description and reviews and believed a "drive" basket would fit properly. It DOES NOT. It really tips out on the bottom quite a bit. Unfortunately I discarded the box and cannot return it so I will attempt to modify the top hanger bracket so it can be used. Hoping it won't break off and doing so will not effect the bottom attachment arms.

The design is problematic. it appear that the TOP HOOK that fits over the top rail is to short. it causes the basket to sit up awkwardly, it tips back and causes the cups/glass in the drink slot to tip backwards. This poor design causes the arms to push upward adding to the upward tilt problem. I keep trying to figure out how to modify it for a better fit but the material (metal) is so hard bending it will be a problem.

It does not work with my Walker. It has a hooked part and then two strange arms that do not seem to fit anywhere on the Walker. After trying to make every thing fit for 2 days, I would like to return it but have never had a home delivery returned to Walmart and need to know who to send it to.

This basket simply did not fit the walker shown. I had to bend the basket considerably to get it close to fitting and then use zip ties to attach it. A large hammer was also helpful! Drive apparently makes different style walkers and the Drive walker I have and the one shown DO NOT work with this basket. Save your money!
