Dry Hidden Valley Ranch Recipe Mix Buffalo Ranch 24/1oz

We love some air fried chicken wings and usually have a mix of seasonings and flour we use that includes garlic, onion, pepper, and a McCormick seasoning blend. We added this to our wing flour mix to give it a little kick. We added about half a pouch for 20 wings (the flour lasts 2-3 batches of wings if frozen after use) and it gave just enough spice for me. My husband loves hot sauce but I don't love spicy food so this was a good compromise. Definitely still taste a hint of ranch but that's completely expected as it is a ranch seasoning blend. Would recommend!

I wasn't really sure what to expect but the buffalo ranch seasoning mix was sooo good!! I used chicken tenders as some in my household don't like traditional bone in wings and everyone loved it. Not too spicy but full of flavor definitely will make again and would recommend!

We have been looking for something to eat and didn't realize this little packet of seasoning would be such a game changer. Working all day and needing something different to cook this is the perfect solution. This Buffalo Ranch seasoning mix makes your chicken so good. My teenagers are so picky but they just loved it. I see that Hidden Valley makes some other great seasoning mixes so we will be trying them out.

This new Hidden Valley Buffalo ranch mix is spectacular! I had drumsticks using it & the plate was cleared in about 10 minutes. Everyone wanted more! I had the buffalo wings I normally make on the table also and I make darn good wings.. but they were no comparison to the Hidden Valley version. I'm impressed, ultra impressed. This will be a staple in my cupboard from now on.

Not overwhelming, very flavorful. Even if you have kids that don't like spicy they will like this the ranch overpowers the Buffalo flavor. Its just a hint of Buffalo over the ranch. Definitely going to try again on wings in the air fryer to see how each piece holds spices.

It was everything I expected it to be. I wish I had taken a picture of the chicken breast I used it on because they were beautiful too. But they went fast and I didn't think to take a picture before they were gone. I just used the recipe on the back of the package and it was perfect.

I didn't have chicken wings but I had chicken breast. I chopped up sweet onion and a red onion; I added a bit of butter to a 9 x 13 pan; I cubed the chicken and tossed it with the onions and the hidden valley ranch buffalo seasoning and pepper and paprika. I baked it for about 30 minutes at 350°, stirring occasionally. Everybody loved it! I served it with a drizzle of ranch dressing and mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. It was some thing different and that is good for us.

Before you read this review, know that I LOVE buffalo sauce and ranch. When I order wings, I order extra sauce. And my husband loves strong flavors. SO- We followed the recipe on the back of the package using chicken drumsticks. We followed the recipe exactly and the chicken was good…but not great. This seasoning results in more of a hint of flavor than I'd prefer. I would recommend trying it, but don't expect a strong, powerful flavor. We may try this again but double the seasoning packet.

This recipe mix worked better that I had expected. I first salted the chicken for a couple of days. Then I partially cooked the chicken in an instant pot to cut down on the cooking time. I finished the chicken in the oven at 375 sprinkling the recipe mix onto the chicken.

So disappointed in this product. I was very excited to try it out, especially since we just got an air fryer. I was reading through the ingredients, and among other things found MSG in it. There are so many other companies out there making products without this in it - I'm hoping hidden valley can get their act together and come up with a better solution. If that stuff doesn't bother you then you'll probably like this mix.
