First time I have ever tried Smoked Paprika; usually I use regular. I love Lawry's Seasoned Salt, and now have another one to love!! First of all it smells smoky and fragrant; best thing is that it is not lost in the cooking process, or diminished in any way. My favorite thing for making homemade cheese and mac and tuna casseroles which I make from scratch 2 x a week, is to top them with crushed potato chips, then sprinkle liberally with this paprika, garlic and onion powder and bake uncovered x 50 min. or so. Casseroles come out with tons more crunchy flavor!! Love this stuff, and considering the amount you get plus the incredible savings.....(most smoked paprika is VERY expensive!!) this is by far the best buy!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
This stuff is amazing! I was skeptical and didn't really think that paprika could be this flavorful, but it will transform whatever dish you put it on! Use it sparingly because there is so much flavor in it! Just buy it and you won't be sorry.
This has a nice smoky flavor and is an easy way to add more depth to meats, vegetables, soups, or whatever else needs help. Good pantry spice to have around, especially if your seasoning cabinet is mostly just salt and optimism.
I Love Using Smoked Paprika In Many Foods I Prepare. I seem to Use It So Much In a Variety of Foods that I Run out of It Quickly So I Made the Purchase Of 3 This Time Around; Hopefully they will Last a bit Longer This Time... It Really Has a Good Smoked Flavor and Has Always Tasted Fresh As A Morning 🌄 Rise comes up for the 1st time! I would Recommend This Product!
I cook more nowadays and I use this on most everything. This is the first time using this type of paprika. Lawry's is a iconic brand and I have bought their seasoning before and I will buy this again. I just wish great value had better quality of spices.
I'm the worst cook ever, but I can make the BEST potatoes with this smoked paprika. I peel the potatoes, cut them, drizzle a little bit of olive oil, then a little bit of pink salt, then this smoked paprika and garlic powder (everything on both sides), then 15 minutes at 320 °F on the air fryer and ENJOY! I also add this to brown rice, and same amazing results.
I'm over 60, and I didn't know, with certainty, what Paprika tastes like. I chose the smoked version to evaluate the flavor, and I like the smoky flavor better. Yes, I've had deviled eggs with paprika before, hundreds of times but, I really didn't associate the specific flavor of paprika with that of what deviled eggs taste like with paprika. I've since tried it on several different types of food, meats, pasta, sunny-side-up eggs and more. This is now a spice rack item in my kitchen.
I love this smoked paprika! I put it in a rub for steaks and it added a nice smokey flavor! Really good!
It seem to be VERY hard to get anything out of it, you kinda have to try some, then knock it against the counter between everytime to get something more out of it. Only annoying experience i have with it
Additives like Silicone Dioxide has been known to cause water retention and other adverse health effects. especially in people with congestive heart failure or high blood pressure. BE VERY LEERY OF ANY SPICES THAT DO NOT LIST THEIR INGREDIENTS and ask you to visit their website. Thats becailuse its usually filled with chemicals, and they're banking on you not visiting their website for nutritional information.
