Great Value Organic Herbs De Provence, 0.6 oz

I love this great value herb de province in soups the most however it elevates the taste and complexity of many dishes. Many people rave about my soup and a few Italian dishes as well. A little goes a long way.

I use this spice in some of my recipes and when I couldn't find it in the store, I went online. A little "spendy" but worth the cost. I ordered it early in the a.m. and got it later that afternoon. Now that's service!

Tarragon is an aromatic herb featuring a distinct anise or licorice flavor, widely used in French cuisine to enhance chicken, seafood, eggs, and cream sauces.

I had never used this seasoning before I got a recipe that called for it. But I'm very happy I tried it. Now I use it in so many things...on roast beef, in marinara sauce, on chicken, etc. Delicious!

This is realllly good. I put it in chicken pot pie, on whipped potatoes, popcorn, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese with tomatoes, you name it. It has a variety of herbs,lavender for instance...very, "French."

Phenomenal flavor perfect for any chicken dish! Excellent for use on whole roast chicken or mixed in with chicken pot pie filling!

Have not tried it yet but purchased to use with drained, canned white beans marinated in oil and vinegar with a touch of herbs de provence added...

Herb De Provence has a special taste, but it is a nice change of taste adding it to pasta, and different foods. Being organic isn't necessary for me, but it was all that I could get.

It seems to be poultry season with lavender. I did not care for the lavender taste at all. the only time I ever liked lavender in food was in a lemon lavender donut -- I don't feel it belongs in savory dishes. personal preference, others clearly like it.

Not crazy about the flavor. The lavender is too strong and not really needed in the mix. People complaining about the perfume flavor.
