Great Value Organic Garlic Powder, 2.5 oz

I've tried several different garlic powders and found most of them to have very little flavor. I would find myself having to add more and more to a dish I was cooking, but it never satisfied, so I would try another brand. I was trying affordable brand garlic powders, then I graduated to more expensive ones......... but still no decent smell or flavor. I'd already tried the GV garlic powder and it was pretty bad. I have no idea what possessed me to try the GV Organic garlic powder, but I did and it blew me away. Now that's all I use. It's amazing! So much flavor-- you actually have to be careful when adding a lot to not go too far. I just ate some green beans with a fabulous butter and garlic sauce and like garlic should I am still tasting it an hour later. heh..... _____ Note to Walmart: Do not mess with this stuff. no more fillers or added anything. Keep it exactly like this.

I had an A.I. bot research spices and herbs for heavy metals and other contaminants. That A.I. drew on credible sounding sources. So, I trusted its report that this Walmart product is quite low in "nasties." That makes it a very good buy. Most other brands that have proven in tests to have very low levels of heavy metals, etc., are way more expensive. My ONLY gripe is the same complaint I have for all the bottled herbs and spices I've ever used: they do not seal well after you have broken the factory seal. If they did, shelf life would be longer. Herbs and spices grow stale faster than you might think.

Light garlic flavor. Very delicious sprinkled on soft boiled eggs. This Great Value Organic Garlic Powder is a wonderful alternative when fresh organic garlic is not easily available. This garlic powder is always in our pantry. Great value for organic garlic powder in a glass bottle. When added to homemade cooking and sauces this one is always a winner.

This was the first time I used ‘organic' garlic powder. The texture is different but in a good way. I'm sure it's healthier than non-organic.

The non organic great value garlic powder tastes horrible but this has a much better taste.

Why pay more for name brand when this product is way cheaper and better quality

The safety seal is always loose and the lid is halfway off. The last few that I've ordered over the past 2-3 months have been this way. Overall the garlic powder is good and flavorful.

I'm very nice taste that continued through the cooking, shakes out very well not powdery or chunky. A good product
