Outstanding olive oil. This is one of the best tasting extra organic virgin olive oils out there on the mass market. I dip my pink salmon in it as I am eating it. I dip my baked chicken in it as I am eating it. I marinate with it. It is very, very good. I have had many, many bottles of this.

Ok, so this is not an artisanal oil from single farm in Spain. (Or even ten farms in Spain.) However, for one quarter of the cost, you get a blended oil with good consistency and a strong enough pleasant flavor to really stand out in your oil-forward recipes like pesto, tabouli, shrimp scampi, and just herb-indused dipping oil. I have bought it repeatedly. Do I have my stash of the really great, peppery stuff for when guests come over? Yes. But this oil is at a price point that I can justify cooking with it.

I love everything about the product, but the reason I only bought the 16oz was because the 32oz size was not available in the store. I did purchase 3 of the 32oz online through Amazon for $7.34/ea., but would love to be able to buy the Pompeian Organic Olive Oil at Walmart in the store if avalable.

Walmart offers a large selection of Olive oils. I have been using Pompeian Olive Oil for years! They offer several different flavors. I chose the Robust for salad dressings and marinades, but I have used all their flavors, and am so satisfied with this brand!

My taste buds are not discerning enough to taste the difference between olive oils. I do think it's healthier to cook with and the price came down and that's why I keep buying this brand.

When I try European olive oil labeled as a organic extra virgin and robust, usually, it has bold and peppery taste. This oil does not. Is it because of used olives type or because of filtering/refining the oil? Who knows. So, it might be fine for someone, but did not work for me. Besides, if it is categorized as a healthy organic product, probably, it would be logical to sell it in a glass bottle.

This is a serviceable everyday EVOO. It has a light olive aroma and flavor with a little pepper on the finish. It is not especially robust, but it is filtered, affordable, and usable for everyday cooking. I would buy it as a safe backup.

This olive oil is rancid. It's very bitter tasting. Also, theres no expiration date on it.
