Morton All-Natural Fine Himalayan Pink Salt Shaker, 17.6 oz

It really tastes like salt. The pink I'm told is iron. There iodized salt has a weak salt taste and I had to take an iodine supplement because I did not get enough iodine from the iodized salt and my daily vitamin that said it was 100% of daily Iodine. recommend the fine grind.

Even though I really haven't had a chance to use it several times myself. When I did use it. My good taste so much better and you don't have to use a lot!

I decided to switch from Morton's regular salt to their Himalayan Pink salt. I found out the Himalayan salt is rich in minerals like iron, potassium, Calcium and Magnesium which are missing from more processed white table salt.

I can get more at Costco for the same amount of money however Walmart offers me the free delivery as long as I do a Walmart plus membership, which I have been doing

a smaller amount of salt provides a lot if flavor. i will not go back to regular salt after using this. it is more expensive but worth the extra cost.

Although the review should be for the qualifying of the product, it's very frustrating to receive a product where the packaging is damaged and completely missing in this case. The convenience of only shopping has become a frustrating one. The staff in charge of shopping for the customer really just don't care. I've receive expired and moldy produce as well as products like this one where the cap is completely missing. The seal was on but the cap gone. How did the person shop for the items not see that??! Do better Walmart.

I love the salt but 2 things stick out. The first is it takes one time for it to fall and the cap comes right off, the second thing is I think the holes are a bit too big since the salt is so fine (easy to under estimate how much comes out).

Had used this a long time but after discovering in a thorough A.I. search, it and many salt brands have "yellow prussiate of soda " (sodium ferrocyanide) as an anti-caking agent, and I decided not to use it again. While it may not release cyanide, please research and see if you or family have conditions that may make you sensitive to this additive (triggering migraines, histamine reactions, gastric issues). A simple search will give you options free of additives, for example Terrasoul and Mobass. And Walmart has those (thank you Walmart!).
