Spice Up Your Meal with Lighthouse Spices
Litehouse spices are one of the best alternatives to using fresh herbs. I prefer the freeze dried preservation of these spices versus the powered spices when available, but I always prefer fresh herbs of my recipes and time allow it.

Great substitute for fresh basil
The freeze dried basil is great for spaghetti gravy. It also works well in making bruschetta if you don't have fresh basil

Not impressed
Nothing impressive. Low on flavor. I think the average, non-freeze dried basil in a jar is actually slightly better. I couldn't coax out any basil flavor and there was no basil aroma when I opened the jar. Disappointed especially at this price. Maybe I receive a bad jar but definitely not worth it.
