I like the design and movability of the individual lights, however i am very disappointed in the brightness or lack of I should say. it really only illuminates about 5' from the area you have it in, i expected it to be as bright or brighter than a flashlight i paid only $7.50 for but its not. its too dim to be used for large areas, would be best for small patio or porch. battery life is good and it does detect approaching persons or animals easily but honestly its not worth the money

both units worked great for awhile, but 1 unit/set stopped sensing movement checked batteries, it lights up when the switch is turned off and on lighting up for initial operation but won't sense movement. I was about to order more but, rethinking that...

Item was way to cheaply made.

Bought two of these. One doesn't work at all, and the other doesn't work properly. Both are placed in a very dark hallway leading to the bathroom. Attempted to install the batteries on the first light, and the batteries popped out. I carefully forced them in, and screwed it closed. Heard rattling from the wiring panel, and found 2 wires dangling. Not good!! With the second light, batteries installed just fine. Had high hopes that this one would work. Turned it on -- but only one lamp works. At least it is motion activated. It's a shame though. I like the size, and the fact there's an on/off switch. When my grandson isn't here, I can turn it off.
