Duck Brand HVAC Metal Repair Aluminum Foil Tape, 1.88 in. x 45 yd., Silver

I'm new to this kinda diy but it was really simple to use, after figuring out how to separate the backing from the tape LoL. I watched YouTube video and was able to put product on pretty smoothly. you do have to handle very slowly or will curl back and stick to itself. otherwise it sticks to whatever really good %26 snug. and we got plenty left over for future use. I trust duck brand and value is great. it's sealed the vents nicely, no more leaks. I could feel the difference almost immediately! so yes, definitely recommend for ductwork 👌

Found a hole in one of our ducts, and repaired it with another aluminum tape. Eventually the tape came off due to forced air in the duct. The Duck Brand tape has been on for about six months, and has been subjected to both heat and cols air temps. Still holding , keeping the hole sealed!

Garage door repair success! This tape is awkwardly sticky and bends super easy so it's easier to rip off in pieces, not one long piece. Ripping is better than cutting. Ripping makes it easier to peel white paper away. It's cooler months right now but it claims to hold well against temperature changes, so we'll see. Either way, this was easy to use and it works. I'm not a pro, I'm just a housewife.

It's silvery aluminum foil tape with an adhesive backing. A rather big roll, I imagine my neighbors will be ordering their own soon. The durability is implied, the adhesive is strong and will stick to almost anything. The size of the roll means that you might need to measure how much you need and pull out that length before cutting it off with scissors, to ensure ease of installation. I originally ordered it to increase the thickness of my crutches so that the broom handle holder would grip. That's how I mount my crutches to the frame of my wheelchair.

Worked perfectly to secure my insulation in my RV windows. Holds well, incredibly adhesive. Tears easily. Takes a bit of experience to figure out the best way to use it, like stripping the paper backing as you're applying instead of before so there's no bows. Would use again in the future.

I live in an RV and needed to cover some outside trim after I replaced the wooden floor inside. It had allowed water to seep through where the screws were. I had used this a couple of years ago on a different section of my RV. And it still is keeping it from leaking. Hind sight, I should have just covered the entire trim around my RV then I wouldn't have had the trouble that I have now.

I've never had any problems with this aluminum tape. I've repaired HVAC ducting in several locations and this tape has held those patched areas together for years without failing. Pros: pricing, ease of use, durability and availability Cons: none `

This tape really sticks and really works! Be careful on painted walls! it really sticks good! Highly recommend!

I used it to seal door. To keep cold air from coming in. Tape looks better than painters tape. Worked really well to seal air from coming in !! I will keep it in stock.
