this stuff mixed with sawdust/woodchips creates a putty that can used for sooooo many different things. i mixed some with pencil shavings and used it to mold a new handle around an old paint scraper that had lost its handle and after a little sanding and some paint it looks and works like brand new again. ive also used it to glue together a frame for some climbing plants for extra bonding power along with some screws and it can hold an impressive amount of weight. highly recommended
I made a faux wooden backsplash around my sink and stove out of paint sticks and this glue did an amazing job keeping them up and I love the way that it came out. it didn't take very long for the glue to set. it's easy to clean up and works pretty fast with no odor.
I used this Liquid Nails adhesive to repurpose a few tables at home, and it held up perfectly. The consistency is smooth and easy to apply with a standard caulk gun, and it gives you just enough time to position materials before setting. Once cured, the bond feels strong and secure with no movement or gaps. I liked that it dries tan, which blends well on wood surfaces, and that cleanup was simple with a damp cloth before it hardened. There was little to no odor, and it dried firm within a few hours. It's an excellent all-purpose adhesive for small furniture repairs or indoor construction projects.
excellent general purpose glue. fresh stock means it flows easily. use it within two years to keep from drying rock hard. best to gather up all your fix up projects on the to do list in order to use up the entire tube at once.
I have used Liquid Nails for projects all through my life. when I had a wobbly chair leg I put Liquid Nails in there and clamped it I hasn't wobbled since. when a friend of mine had a torn painting I used Liquid Nails to attach the two torn pieces to a piece of very thin board and then painted over the tear mark. I've used Liquid Nails when I am building things I'm an artist and I often need extra confidence that pieces of my work will hold together. as long as your surface is clean and well prepared, and you give it the complete drying time, you will not be disappointed
It dried a little hard, some cracks but still held and still holding. I would recommend especially if doing something with gaps hold together. Very well
It is messy to use, and some usually comes out the bottom of the tube onto the caulk gun. Make sure you have something long like a 3 inch nail to puncture the tube when first using. I used it in a basement with elevated humidity and it took around 4 days to dry; it was still completely flexible and removeable the whole time it was drying. You have to use a liberal amount or else it won't stick to the surfaces and will just snap off when dried. Once it finally dried, it seems like a very strong bond. The odor is unpleasant, but it's very faint so you will probably only catch an occasional whiff when using it. It dries to a pale tan color slightly lighter than when wet, but it is paintable.
The tube broke during g use so only got to utilize half the glue, yet what was used has a great hold. The design of the tube needs to be made better to avoid it breaking.
Tube arrived with the plunger disc inserted off center rendering the tube unusable in a caulk gun (item should've never been delivered this way). Because I needed to use the adhesive as soon as it arrived I had to cut the tube open and use as much product as I could. If I had a choice I would've returned it.
tube was broken on arrival. contents dried up, useless. "easy returns" are NOT easy when i don't own a printer to do your mandatory "must print shipping label." i'm losing money on trash when i buy here and i have no option.
