I have used foam mounting tape for many projects. This stuff holds very well. I have used it to mount surge protectors on the back of desks, mount some speakers on the sides of my computer monitor, and mount several other things all over the house. Just remember to only use it where you want things permanently mounted, because once attached you'll damage the surface trying to remove it.
I put this all around my door to the hallway in my apartment building. I could always see light coming through the doorway, and hear my upstairs neighbors stomping around. This really helps!! It seems to stick very well, and if it comes off, I will just reapply a new strip.
Very good double sided tape, Great tape, holds well. I even bought more
At last, this one is really strong. I used this tape to put arts on my wall and it still holds (months later). The other tapes would fall down. The only con: there's not much tape in this roll so grab two!
Exactly what I ordered.
Great for paper crafts.
well, it's the strongest type of tape there is. It does what it's supposed to do, sticks stuff to things. Foam tape is usually a last resort for things that just wont stay with anything else. The only downside is that if you ever want to remove it it's a pain. But I suppose I'll just deal with it if and when that time comes. They're little tabs about the size of a .....rectangular penny? Yeah I guess that'll do. Maybe a little smaller than the smallest stamp you can think of? Is that good? oh well, they stick, and that's what counts in the end. Use a bunch of them at a time if you'd like to feel safe about it. Comment |
It is often difficult to adhere my student's artwork to the concrete walls at my school. The Double sided mounting tape works like a charm, and can be removed with a metal scraper without damage to the wall. It is also great for matting the student's artwork for display.
While this tape is very reasonably priced and very sticky, it is very difficult to cut with scissors. The tape sticks to the scissor blades and tears so that it is nearly impossible to cut to size without ruining it. I wish this did not happen because the mounting tape has a super strong stick but because it also sticks to my scissors, it is really frustrating to use.
This tape is not strong enough to hold my picture frame. I would not recomend this!
