This is The Best Brownie mix, it has a packet of chocolate fudge in it that makes it sooo good. I can't get it in Kona, Hi where I live anymore- but when I'm in Burbank I buy it from Empire center store. My Ohana Loves it! Please don't discontinue it.
Dolly, does it again! If you want to look good, definitely bake from the line of the Dolly Parton Duncan Hines mix. Anything and everything she has up there in that pink box I have bought and it is the most yummiest taste ever! I get tons of compliments people thinking that I made it from homemade. I have tons of these in my pantry. And I always will because if I have people coming over, I will break out one of these and make them and know they are a big hit! So so good great value for the money a must in my household
Absolutely the number one, first choice, gotta have fudge brownie mix available on the planet! Simple ingredients you always have on hand, and a yummy fudge packet. Stir and bake and ENJOY ! Dolly's recipe will want you coming back for more. ENJOY!
BEST BROWNIES EVER! I love they are not loaded with oil and use butter and milk instead. They are absolutely delicious and a staple in our house. I've always got 2 boxes on hand!
I seldom use " boxed " dessert anything ... so glad I bought this on a "whim" . Best brownie I have had in years - better than my homemade recipe, thank you Dolly !
I've bought twice now.. the first time I forgot to add the little fudge pack and they were delicious.. the second time I added the pack and they were still delicious.. they also stay nice and soft for a good 4-5 days!!!!
I'm so incredibly glad I bought this brownie mix to try!!! It is probably the same mix as the normal DH mix but the directions and stuff you add are different. It forms seemingly dry looking and stiff but just keep mixing until most lumps are gone and can spread into dish. Follow the directions on the side of the box exactlyand you shouldn't be disappointed!! I love gooey fudge brownies and these are by far the best box kit I've made. Coming back to buy more right now!!! Dolly didn't let us down!
I have always made homemade brownies. The boxed ones never tasted good to us. They were never moist and the sides were always to crisp. But these have totally changed that. You use a whole stick of butter when baking and they're incredible. Drool drool.
ok, added extra egg yolk to both Dolly's and Ghirardelli. texture was very good. not quite as rich as Ghirardelli, but for the price point...pretty darn good. I will add that you need to add more to Dolly's per the instructions which starts to eat into cost points but still a worthy product.
These brownies came out extremely bitter tasting. I can't figure out why, because I followed the exact directions on the package. Also, the texture of these “brownies” came out so moist and dense that my family didn't care to finish the cooked batch of brownies (which usually are totally eaten within the day in our house), because they felt undercooked, even though we cooked it the full time and used the toothpick check in several locations and it came out clean after baking. Lastly, dealing with this brownie's batter was a nightmare. Most brownie batters are easy to transfer into a pan and glide fairly effortlessly, but this batter stuck to absolutely EVERYTHING. I probably wasted 5-6 tablespoons of product just because I couldn't get it off the mixing bowl, spatula, mixing whisks, my hands, the counter, etc.
