The blackberries filling taste like the berries you get from the bush. Most fruit pie fillings you get from a can is sweet, this is not. Great tasting.

I use this on cheesecake. I know. It's pie filling but just try it on cheesecake. Try it on pancakes or waffles. omg. You'll love it. Great change up from Maple Syrple.

When I need a break from editing my book, The Jedi Way An Ancient Hermetic Path Out of the Digital Dark Age I like to pick wild berries, grow, water, weed and tend to heirloom veg, fruit/nut trees/bushes/patches. Sometimes I like to combine wild berries with homegrown berries and make a crumble with a can of pie filling for sugar and flavor. While my homegrown berries are great, nothing beats God's wild berries.

For some reason, I didn't taste a lot of blackberry. This tasted more like raisins to me. For that, I probably wouldn't buy it again. I didn't use this to bake a pie though, instead I like to use this type of stuff as a cheesecake topping. I'm from Washington, and used to pick blackberries a lot as a kid. It has a good consistency, good texture, there's a good mix of berry to 'jelly'. The ingredients are basic, but that's a GOOD thing. I'd try another flavor from this brand. The pie filling isn't overly sweet either. So it would make for a really good tarte too. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend this specific product/flavor, I'd still recommend the brand.

Ordered this to make my husband a pie for his birthday as no one local had any fresh berries or frozen but walmart had this, figured okay should be fine. Put pie crust in the pan did two cans as required by recipe for a 9 inch pie a bit liquidy but again figured it would firm up after baking. Many hours later its time to cut the pie and serve it only to see a watery mess…it in fact did not firm up and the lack of berries was disappointing, taste as well. Should have drove to the next town over to acquire fresh and not wasted my money, wont try this brand again not worth the money

I did not like the fact that I did not get my order for the Blackberry pie filling! I still have not received it. and it's not on the list to be delivered it was part of the original order that was not delivered to my address! and it's the only thing left in that order specifically that has not been delivered yet. this is a product that use around the holidays, and now I'm not going to have it for Thanksgiving!

The berries were old have you ever picked blueberries off the bushes in the summer, and find dried and shriveled most of these berries were dried and shriveled it was terrible I'm almost afraid to open up the other can of the berry blend when I got. These were unetable.

I purchased this product to mix with two other types of berry pie filling. I was very displeased that there were only five, small blackberries in the 21 oz. can. I had to ask a friend to pick up a carton of fresh blackberries so I could make a triple berry pie. I will buy this brand of any type of pie filling
