I have narcolepsy, and a teen with severe autism. Yeah, not a good combination. However, I take medication and sometimes, when narcolepsy settles over me like a storm, I depend on caffeine. I like that this is concentrated and the taste/flavor is so much better than other bottled, cold coffee drinks I've tried. My narcolepsy would like for it to have more caffeine 😳😉
Ambrosia of the gods is all I can say :D I prefer my coffee hot, so usually warm up one half cup water %26 one half cup of the "cold brew" in a small saucepan. (I don't use microwave, but of course that can be used as well.) Then I add my creamer, or foam, or whatever to top it off. Delish!
I did not realize BUT since this is concentrated you MUST ADD WATER! 1/2 Water %26 1/2 coffee concentrate! I thought, Wow! This is pretty darn strong for Dunkin' Donuts 😆, even w/ the 1/2 water to 1/2 coffee it's strong, but that's great for me. I add stevia for sweeting %26 vanilla muscle milk for smoothness %26 protein. This is surprisingly good!
I warm 1 cup of this concentrate (properly diluted with water at a 1:1 ratio) to a boil every morning in a small saucepan, because I like my coffee hot %26 it is SOOOOO DELICIOUS. The Caramel flavor really adds something special in my opinion (the Butter Pecan is good too, but I prefer the Caramel, because it has a much stronger flavor). Anyway, I decided to start ordering this flavor by the case, because I got tired of running out (1 bottle lasts me about a week at a rate of 1 cup of coffee per day) %26 I know this is always going to be a staple in my pantry.
The Dunkin' Cold Brew Coffee has become part of my morning routine. Paired with the Chobani creamers, it makes a smooth tasting iced coffee. The first time I bought this, I missed that is was concentrated and needs to be mixed with water. I do a 1:1 ratio then add creamer. The concentrated bottle fits better in the fridge than other open and pour options.
It's Dunkin what else can I say? This is the first time I tried Dunkin cold brew all you have to do is pour it in a glass with ice at your favorite creamer and I promise you you'll be in heaven at a little sweetener to it and there's no different than going to Starbucks getting that expensive coffee try it
This cold brew makes a tasty and quick beverage, especially when on-the-go. It's quick to mix and dissolve. The non dairy, no sugar option has only 15 calories. I add coffee(50%), water (25%), milk (25%) and ice to my tall stainless steel sipping cup and it gets me through my afternoon errands with added energy. Grab and go!
So, overall the taste was good and the caffeine level is good. It is a 1:1 ration of concentrate to water so you can obviously dial up or down the mix to suit your tastes. I guess I just really miss the pods even more the ground caramel cold brew. I have not run the numbers but I am certain it is much more expensive than either of those choices. And with the ground coffee I could make a 12 cup pot and enjoy that right out of the fridge if I am in a hurry to head out. Did Dunkin stop making those options??
I was a little disappointed in this product. I tried many different water to coffee ratios and it either tasted like dirt or water. I followed the directions and that was the watery taste / super weak coffee taste, so I tried adding less water to it and got dirt. I use another well known brand and do not have an issue so I know I know how to make it, however to be fair I like the bolder taste of coffee. I would not recommend this unless you aer a fan of weak coffee.
Absolutely disgusting. Super bitter even after creamer and I drink espressos black so I'm not again a bitter but this bitter was like a burnt nasty bitter. Wasn't the batch because I tried it again a few months after my first try. My husband drinks cold brews so we get these for him and unless you lack taste buds or drink coffee for the same reason you take shots of cheap rum…. I do not recommend….
