My husband uses these for his hearing aides. They are the best for lasting longer. Been using them for years. The only part he doesn't care for is so many are now packaged so kids can't get into them. Kinda of a problem getting them out of package without using a scissors.
These hearing aid batteries work quite well and are reasonably priced. My only problem with them is that if your fingers are stiff or your hands a bit shaky it can be a trial trying to get the battery into the tiny frame that ultimately goes into the hearing aid.
Packaging needs to be changed. I get that it needs to be childproof, but it doesn't need to be adult proof!! I don't always have scissors with me when I need to get a new battery out so it's frustrating to deal with opening the package without them.
The child proof feature is annoying. ADULT PROOF TOO! Had to practically destroy the packaging to get to the batteries. Can't get into it without scissors or a knife. Had to use both, but didn't have either with me when I needed them, until I could get to them at home.
The batteries work fine but getting the package open and getting to the batteries is ridiculously hard. I shouldn't need scissors to open these. Especially since most individuals who use them for hearing aids are older and have problems getting this type of packaging open.
Since the company has started using the child proof packaging, I am unhappy with it. I am 85, I have difficulty cutting open the plastic without slicing my fingers. Whose bright idea was to change the packaging. If I could buy another brand I would. Please let me know if you also have the 312 hearing aid battery that is not impossible to open.
Love these batteries, I've used this brand exclusively for decades because they last the longest. I've worn hearing aids all my life and prefer the battery style over the rechargeable ones- who wants to suddenly be caught deaf while out and about- having to go home and wait to hear while slowly recharging their ears?! Thanks to a rogue recent administration, we all in USA now must suffer these horrible new 'childproof' packages which are not only nearly impossible to open- but they also are dangerous! Using a pair of sharp strong scissors to try cutting out individual tiny batteries from a hard plastic case is a nightmare for seniors with arthritis, plus now I no longer have the nice plastic case in which to put the used batteries back in to, so they are actually more of a hazard to children when loosely discarded into a trash can. I'm not sure how on earth I'll even be able to travel on the airplane with these, since I have to have sharp scissors in my purse everywhere I go now. There are no children in my home, I'm a senior and this new packaging is simply ridiculous. Childproof packaging should be optional for those hearing aid wearers who happen to have children %26 still have steady non-arthritic hands %26 good enough eyesight to perform scissors surgery on a hard plastic container to remove each tiny battery...
WILL NOT RECOMMEND "SIMPLY BECAUSE I HAVE TO GET SCISSORS TO STRUGGLE TO "CUT" TO GET THE BATTERY 🔋 OUT!!! THAT'S "NOT WAL MARTS FAULT! IT IS THE MANUFACTURER OF THE DURACELL 🔋 I'M GOING TO LOOK FOR A SUITABLE ALTERNATIVE NEXT TIME. I KNOW I'VE ORDERED OTHER 🔋 DIFFERENT BRAND AND "I HAD NO ISSUE OR PROBLEM GETTING THE PACKAGE OPEN AND THE 🔋OUT! SO, ALTHOUGH THE QUALITY OF THE BATTERY 🔋 IS GOOD, "IT IS SIMPLY "NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE AND MAJOR HASSEL TO GET THE DANGED PACKAGE OPEN!" 😔 smh
As if the new packaging isn't bad enough, the batteries last half the time of other brands and some of the batteries are dead right out of the package. Shame on you, Duracell! So much for being a trusted name. No, i absolutely would never recommend these nor will I buy them again.
This was too hard to get out of packaging that the product put out in. Wasted most all because couldn't get into plastic package even after cutting it. I am a 78 yr old senior with no one to help. Will never buy this brand again But
