I bought this stuff to get rid of odor from cat urine and it worked. We rented our house and when the tenant moved out we discovered that she let her cat use the house like a litter box. I did some research online and came across this stuff and I saw you can put it in a carpet cleaner. We mixed it in the carpet cleaner and in a spray bottle and went around the house. When we were done there was no longer odor of cat.
I have looked for something to take out the urine smell from one of my dogs that has separation anxiety, but could not find anything that would work. When I had an upholstery gentle man come and clean my sofa, he used liquid alive. The product really worked. I found it at Walmart at a very reasonable price and for 4 gallons, you just cant beat that price. I have sprayed liquid alive and my home and furniture do not smell like urine anymore. Since I received it , I have given some to my vet to try it and she did liked it too. One of the downfalls, is that the scent it has is not one of my favorites, but normally goes away a day after, which is tolerable. I which they would make it with coconut or vanilla smell. Moreover, the smell does not bother me and its something I can leave with it, if it take the urine smell. Delivery was very fast. It came to my home before the estimated time. Very happy overall. thanks
Liquid Alive is reasonably priced for an enzyme. It does a great job for those of us with multi-pet households who need a little extra help.
I've struggled for many years to find the right treatment for urine soiled laundry from my young kids. My friend who works at an elderly care center told me about Liquid Alive. I've tried steam washing, fast rinsing in diluted bleach, and pine-sol to get rid of pee smells. I wish I would've known about this 15 years ago! I dilute it using a Walmart $1.00 basic 32 ounce spray bottle. Fill the concentrate to 100 mL and the rest with water to 32 ounces. It's about a 9:1 ratio this way. This stuff is amazing but intended for commercial use, so read the label and dilute it for your safety. I use the spray bottle to apply Liquid Alive right onto the soiled clothing and wash with my laundry load. If I have a load of bedding and pajamas from a night-time accident, I add between 1/3 to 1/2 cup of straight concentrate into the front loading washer with my regular laundry soap and wash in cold water. I can say that it works for laundry, but I'm anxious to see how it does to de-stink old urine stains in the carpet. I'll try update later about that. THIS STUFF WORKS :)
Great product after cleaning or mix with carpet shampoo, used on car carpet after water leak and was amazing, also on living room carpet with baby throwing up, it removed very tough smells that other products didn't work, had to use concentrated with shampoo in carpet shampooer
This can be used for smelly shoes, carpets, pillows, couches, etc It was recommended to me by my professional career cleaner to destroy household odors. I've used it for years now.
Seems to work well to remove odors from carpet. However it has a very strong smell to it that takes several days to go away. I'm very sensitive to perfumes and scented smells of any kind so it wasn't a great experience but did do the job. Shipping was horrible and the box arrived badly damaged and the product leaking out all over.
It did not get rid of the strong cat smell left on my hardwood floors by a careless tenant. I mopped repeatedly to no avail. Worse yet, it infused the smell of cat pee with a scene of cheap perfume. I bought 4 bottles and threw 2 and a half away.
