For the price this is a nice combo. Reel is accurate on the line counter and pole has a nice action. All in all nice combo

Solid Kokanee trolling combo
This rod by itself is usually $35-$40, so the combo is a good deal. I have two of the yellow full fiberglass Kokanee rods too, and I prefer this pro rod. It has a soft action glass butt section with a faster graphite top section. It's a good balance of a soft/fast action. The reel is nothing fancy, but perfectly functional and has a reasonably smooth drag (very important for soft mouthed Kokanee). It holds quite a bit of line, and the matching color scheme looks sharp with the rod. Note that the line counter is only accurate if the spool is 100% full of line. Overall a solid trolling combo that is cheaper than many Kokanee rods or reels by themselves. 4 stars because the reel feels a bit cheap, but still works just fine.
