First experience using resin and this included great instructions. My first application turned out great. Be sure to have a heat gun on hand.
I did some YouTube video to get help on how to use the product and it works great
This epoxy does not yellow on your tumblers. I wear a respirator while working with it and have fans going and windows open. However, the fumes and smell are not bad.
This is my favorite epoxy!! I use it make items with my molds and on my tumblers. It is great to use and I don't have problems with excess bubbles. The shipment is always fast and item has always been just as described. This is my 3rd order of this epoxy.
I have used this product for over 2 years in my wood working projects and have been very satisfied with how it hardens up and if one follows the directions it mixes easily. Though it must be warmed sufficiently. I still have some issues with eliminating all of the bubbles. This is in part due to the often porous material I am working with
I use this resin for casting molded craft items. I have used others, but this is the best. It mixes, pours and hardens well. Others sometimes have turned color over time. This one does not.
I would have liked some rings around the bottles, to help pour equal amounts. The work I used it for was to strengthen a rotting wooden bench. I ground up some wood and pushed it into the holes before putting on the coating. I wish I had taken more caution with drips. I worked on a patio with cement tiles. Driups and spills are permanent.
I have several projects I needed done and once it started to sit it got so hot it melted my plexiglass! I had to add weight to the top of my project to make it wher I might be able to save it! I'm switching brands. This is way too much for a product that doesn't give you the results you need
The WORST resin EVER.... first resin is a pain to begin with so having good resin to ensure quality product is essential. Lesson learned! Dont try and save a few bucks on this resin. I have to redo project after project. Full of air bubbles . When you stir it, bubbles are literally floating up out the mixing cup. You can NEVER get all the bubbles out so items are always cloudy. Part A wont barely come out the bottle after you get half way down. My bottles looks like a twisted up can from me trying to squeeze it out. After the last messed up project I had about 1/4 left of the gallon and I threw it away. And full curing takes twice as long as my other resin.
I'm giving one star not for the epoxy itself but because when it arrived it had leaked out. I don't know who to contact as all writing was smeared. I am going to use what's left as I had some projects I needed to get done. Just aggravated package was not marked as having liquid inside. looked like someone set something on top of it.
