We had an old No-Spill can that had a "fuel gauge" strip of translucent plastic down the back side of the can. My old can had been outdoors in sub-freezing weather. When I refilled it, the old can developed a vertical crack along that "fuel gauge". If I'd been smart, I would have gradually warmed up the very cold plastic can before refueling. I was relieved to see that the No-Spill company had REMOVED that "fuel gauge" from the new can. The new design looks far more robust than the old one. The can has no variation in its material and should be far more robust. I always liked this can; I'm quite happy that they continue to improve their product. Make sure to get ETHANOL-FREE gasoline for your lawn care products. Ethanol is terrible on little engines; it will grab water out of the air and corrode engine parts.
Absolutely easiest and most mess-free way to fuel mowers, yard tools, whatever. The spout and push button for flow control allows you to insert snout in gas tank with no drips or spills, then push the button for gas to flow in. release the button and flow stops immediately. No spills or drips. I used to absolutely hate fueling mowers and can't count how many tennis shoes I've ruined by spilling gas on them! Now it's easy peasy! Additional note- I bought the nozzle extension available for it, and that made things even easier yet with less bending.
It went on price roll back after I ordered it. I was showing my brother and the priced dropped 6 hours after I ordered.
This type of can works the best and easiest out of all of them. I still prefer the other ones they made way before these. I don't understand why manufacturers change their designs when they work so well.
Over priced, but best on the market! I have spilled more gasoline using the other “ spill proof spouts” than I ever did before the laws went into effect to change it. This style is expensive, but anything else on the market is junk! This one works.
This is a very nice gas can the first time I seen this type of valve on the top no need for a funnel. The valve worked flawlessly. I just filled my generator tilt. The gas can to the side push the valve and it flows nicely and it's not really that hard to push the valve and there's no drip edge did not spill one drop
Of the new fandangled gas cans this one is the best I've found. The push button spout(for now)works pretty good. Now if the push button in the future goes bad I think the threads are bigger than a replacement spout. Again I think. Hey Government, get out of the gas can spout business and deal with important things.
It is a very good way to store and dispense gas for you lawn mowers and yard tools except for one thing. The button you have to push to allow gas to flow is really hard to hold open. It has a very stiff spring which may be needed to keep it sealed when closed. I'm 71 and not as strong as I used to be so could be part of the problem. I still recommend the product!
I purchased this because of the size, HOWEVER, the spout mechanism is awful %26 very awkward to use! It is so stupid that they have to make these spouts so complicated!!!
never picked up the cans as I found them some where else cheaper. expiration date for pick-up closed. a day after that, i received a thank you for your purchase email from walmart with time, date that i picked them up. two hours of phone calls, no promised return messages, i gave up. Will not shop at this walmart again
