Honestly this was the cheapest type of this item that met my criteria but it was not clear what exactly the backing was. But when i got it, its exactly what i wanted. Not solid wood throughout but mdf slats and a hard foam backing board, perfect for acoustic treatment uses. All the othets have solid wood/mdf as a backing which is too much reflective surface. Having the space between the slats open to the hard foam backing makes this a perfect blend of some harder surface diffusion and some more absorbative foam inbetween and as backing. Makes it weigh less too so its much easier to mount. Some of the edges of the mdf slats were chipped when i opened it, probably from shipping hence the 4 star. But for the price im ok with that. Not gonna lie, if i win this survery, a chunk will be funding more of these as this one pack i bought to test how it looked, backing, quality etc, and now that i know its exactly what i need, i need like 6 more packs. so heres to keeping my fingers crossed lol

So easy to install! was done in 15 min! We purchaed these to go into a standard sized closet as a headboard alternative. installed horizontally these were an exact fit in the closet so we didnt have to cut or trim anything. Now planning on ordering more for another space!

Great panels. Easy to install. We got American oak. Was a little darker than expected but still a great price for material. Easy to cut too. If you are making but cuts make sure to take so the wood doesn't split.

This does a great job at limiting sound. Looks good. Too many panels will look trippy to your eyes. We needed more of them to cover a window. They will chip easy so be careful. Very heavy. Overall price and quality good. We screwed into the wall.

Wow! Best price on the Internet and just gorgeous in my home studio. Dampened the sound on just one wall and looks awesome. Now I have to hang paintings and paint the walls. I highly recommend these.

Solid value for the price. The directions sent with these panels are sparse but there are several installation videos on you tube that help tremendously. Once I did the first two, the rest were easy.

Loved how these came out ! Very nice quality ! Color is as shown exactly I got the wood color ones and came out great ! Make my whole office look so much better ! To install they used a few black screws and pin nailer! Best way to assemble .
