a must have for all chicken coops. we just got duckings and they came with mites/lice. we have them quarantined, washed them and dusted their entire enclosure with this revitalime for when they can go in. . ive tried diatomaceous earth but this removed odor in 3 hours, the spiders in the rafters vacated, too, so that was a huge bonus. you can smell the peppermint and thyme. it calmed the chickens all afternoon. this is a woman owned business and she knows chickens. i am confident in her knowledge and ability to make quality products that work and are affordable! I will keep using this brand because of the quality and price. it makes my coops easier to keep pest free, and raise healthy chicks and duckings. do wear a mask when dusting your coop and wash your hands after.
Clean, pretty much odorless powder. Works to keep the chicken coop low odor and bug free. I mainly use it to keep away mites and have not had any issues yet. I previously used First Saturday Lime and decided to give this new product a try. Use both products the same. However, First Saturday Lime is much less expensive at $31.99 for 20 lbs. So, I will probably go back to that. A great tip for either brand is to use an empty grated parmesan container to easily sprinkle the product wherever needed.
So.. I was excited to use this product, but.. it rained the night before and I already transferred it into a small bucket (I do not know why I did that, it has a very nice quality sealable bag). we needed it the next day for chicken isolation due to sour crop or mini egg shock (not sure which) .. so I went to use it, and it was a little clumpy from the rain but fell to the pine shavings like smoothe sand. crisis averted! This stuff is great.
Though it says for chickens, I'm using it on my dogs to kill fleas. After doing research, it should work. This will be much cheaper than pills or drops and much safer.
great foe cleaning the coop. perfect for chicks. this stuff is soooo great so grateful to be able to try this product. Definitely going to continue this product.
THE REVITAL LIME IS GREAT FOR MY CHICKEN COOP I CAN SEE AND IMPROVEMENT AS FAR AS THE PEST I'M NOT SEEING AS MANY PESTS AS I WAS BEFORE I SPRINKLED THE REVITA LIME IN THE CHICKEN COOP
This is a must for your chicken coop. And it will last me awhile, too. Doesn't have a real strong or unpleasant smell, either. Keeps the smell down and is great for the chicken's health. I definitely recommend!
This lime is great for keeping my chicken coop smelling fresh. it doesn't have any harsh ingredients in it, so I don't have to worry about it harming my chickens. The package came quickly and was undamaged during shipping.
Good quality smells great. It's easy to use $25 is just pricey when you have as many chickens as I do.
Gave it a four because it was a little pricey. Will say it does cut down on flies in the coop. Didn't see any in coop after use.
