Kalmbach Feeds 18% Henhouse Reserve Extraordinary Whole Grain Layer Feed for Chickens 30 lb bag

I was pleasantly surprised that my Hen House Reserve order was delivered the same day at no extra cost. And the delivery man hefted those 40lb bags on his shoulders and placed them in my kennel for my convenience. My hens absolutely love this feed and I love the price and quality.

Our chickens have been waiting for this delivery when I was pouring it into the container. They were already running around the front door of the Chicken Coop. They could smell the delicious food. We have had them on this type of chicken to feed for a few years now they just love it.

while Walmart does not offer the best price on this feed, you can usually find it at a better price at feed stores. If it was the same price I'd buy it here all the time since it's much closer than the feed store. In this case it was urgent, so I was pleased to have this awesome feed available so close. I truly don't know if there are many feeds better than this, and I don't think there are any that can compete at this price. It's such a good feed for your birds.

I normally use pellets, just plain simple pellets. But sometimes my girls want to change things a bit. So I will feed them a 50lb bag of pellets and then a 30lb bag of Kalmbach Feeds Henhouse Reserve. I can't just feed them Kalmbach all the time as they seem to tire of it by the end of the bag although they love it at the start. I only have 5 chickens though so a 30 pound bag lasts about a month. I think my chickens are just too picky and spoiled? The feed looks fantastic! It is a tiny bit sticky due to the molasses but that should encourage them to eat more of it. I love the variety of seeds in the feed.

It was whole corn they substituted for Chicken laying mash. Can you feature that Chicken owners?? Whole corn %26 I have to hump iit back to the store myself. I paid $3.00 more from Amazon today %26 will get it there from now on!
