Educational Insights Word on the Street

Great travel game. We play it when we go out to restaurants and other places where we need to kill time or keep my son occupied. I love that it makes us all think and its fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is hands down one of the most fun games I've played or purchased in a long time. I've spent two weeks figuring out the first 80 puzzles...lost sleep...stayed up late and even kept myself occupied throughout the workday. It's something I almost can't be found without. My wife and kids are now addicted and she's threatened to take it away. Warning: May cause extreme brain pounding pain and excessive while problem solving.

I bought this for my husband who loves brain teasers. He loved it! I even enjoyed it and I usually don't like brain teasers. The best part is that my three year old was even able to do some of the 2D puzzles. This was good fun for our whole family! I'll probably buy a second one for my sister who also likes brain teaser type games.

It was a gift for my 13 year old daughter and she loves it.

My child has autism and he enjoys playing these games. He loves Walmart!! Has all his toys.

Outstanding visual puzzle game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the original Kanoodle games for my kids and enjoyed doing the puzzles myself. I got this version and have enjoyed it, as it's definitely a step up in difficulty from the original Kanoodle. I'm currently stuck on one of the puzzles, which is a fun challenge.

I bought a few HOT DOTs products and we use them all almost daily. My youngest daughter is six and she has issues sitting and listening to the topic. Quickly gets boring. With HOT DOTs products, it changes completely. She sits, goes through activities and learns even not noticing the whole process. After repeating multiple times she just knows it. I like interactive stories and cards. Ages, specified on the box are really appropriate for that age :) I will be buying more. If you have one type of a pen, it will work on all HOT DOTs products. I thought it wouldn't :)

My 7 year old grandson needs special help being interested in reading. This toy did the trick. Usually he will read 3 or 4 short pages, then loses interest. With this, he stays connected for about 30 minutes at a time. He really likes that the pen says different things, not just yes or no.

Like others said, the page is too thin or the pen is too sensitive because the pen picks up the cues from the reverse side of the page. I should have just returned it. Gave it to my granddaughter for her sixth birthday, she's not reading yet, and she said it was boring - well, yes, when you can't tell if the answer it gives is right or wrong it's just nonsense. The only way to be successful is if a reader is present to let the nonreader know when the pen is giving a wrong response. It's only "yes" and "no" answers. Leapfrog products are much better.
