Omg! This brush is amazing! I use it with a liquid foundation and the result is beautiful. Easy to use, great with applying and blending evenly. No streaks or whatsoever. I only use blending sponge for my foundation but this brush will change that routine! Definitely a must have!
i own 8 different foundation brushes, all expensive and this is the best one I have found. purchased it because i thought why not at this price and i love love love it. great with the liquid foundation. great for contouring around eyes and nose creases. feels expensive. its my go to brush now. get this if youre thinking about it, its my fav.
I bought this brush because I was fairly new to makeup and every makeup tutorial I watched had people using foundation brushes, so I wanted one too of course! I bought this brush and immediately loved it. The bristles were soft and they left even coverage without absorbing much product.
this brush is amazing! i was looking for a new liquid foundation brush, but i didn't think i would buy a "pointed" brush, since all the foundation brushes i have are the flat ones. the brush is VERY dense and soft. i highly recommend this brush to anybody that is looking for a new brush for their liquid foundation. if elf made more studio brushes, i would be definitely be purchasing them.
I've had this for a while and continue to love using it. I always use it for foundation since it creates a very smooth finish with a small amount of product. I put a small dab of foundation on the back of my hand and work from there picking up small amounts of product. Very happy with this and haven't had a problem with lost bristles.
I use this brush when I am applying my BB Cream and/or liquid foundation.. works great!! BEST ADVICE TO EVERYONE: WATCH THE ELF TUTORIALS FOR EACH AND EVERY PRODUCT IF THEY HAVE IT!!! OMG.. TURNED OUT GREAT FOR ME! THEY REALLY HELPED!! It was great with my Granier BB Cream and the ELF Studio Acne Fighting Foundation. I put it on the opposite side of my palm/ the top part of my hand and really got the to section saturated w/ the product in circles and applied it to my face. It was like creating a painting if that makes sense! Only thing its not a simple sinch cleaning it, if you really want to get a deep down clean, open up the center and fan it out.. you'll still see the makeup in there.. so just repeat it as much as possible til its all gone if you are really picky. Hope this helps!!
I bought this to use for contouring with the putty bronzers, but found it not appropriate because the putty bronzer blends away too easily with a brush. Instead, I apply with a concealer brush and blend by dabbing with a mini makeup sponge. This brush, however, is soft yet firm and fairly dense. With light pressure the pointed tip of the brush is maintained; with heavier pressure the pointed tip sinks in and rest of the bristles come into contact with the skin. I can see this brush being very versatile, I just don't have a use for it now as I use very minimal makeup.
The bustles aren't soft at all like some other brushes. I would have liked this shape of brush with softer bristles.
As a foundation brush it falls flat... BUT it's a wonderful brush to apply setting powder under the eye, or to use with a powder highlight. Picks up the perfect amount of product for light-handed application. Bristles are super soft, had no issues with fallout, even after multiple washes
I've used this brush about 5-7 times and the last couple times I cleaned it, bristles fell out. Tonight, chunks fell out and now there's a gap in the center. I dunno, maybe I just got a poorly made one. I am very careful about how I wash my brushes and always use very lukewarm water.
