Removes make up quickly without destroying the skin barrier. Soothing and non drying. A little goes a long way. I sometimes follow this with either a liquid soap (Cetaphil or Cerveve) on make up days or a mild toner (Thayers non alcohol). I do tend to use this more in the winter months.

I wanted to try a more expensive brand of makeup cleansing balm, however, my daughter talked me into trying elf first. I have to say I'm extremely surprised at how well it works how well my skin looks in conjunction with a second cleanser. I absolutely love this product.

This cleansing balm melts into my skin and makes a wonderful foundation for a great facial massage before a splashdown rinse and soothing, moisturizing finish. It has a delicate fragrance that disappears after my skin is dry and doesn't seem to irritate my sensitive skin. I love how my skin feels and will buy again.

This is the BEST cleansing balm I've ever used!!! Better than the Elem** brand in my opinion and works so much better than the liquid versions. Just a little dab removes all of my makeup, including waterproof mascara. I have repurchased about 10 times and it's fantastic

I use this every night to take my makeup off. It works fabulously and doesn't dry my skin. It's an incredible value. I would recommend this to anyone. It can be used on any skin type. My face is dry. It's not harsh like some cleansers are.

This is a constant repurchase and now my daughter’s purchased it as well. It’s a great pre-cleanse to get your makeup off before you wash your face keeps breakouts down and keeps face moisturized.

I wear everything from liquid foundations to loose powder/bronzer, blush, mascara, and sometimes even eyebrow pencile. I used to hate taking my makeup off because not only did I have to scrub my face so bad thay it would hurt and burn, but it could take upwards of half an hour to make sure I got it all off my face. I would go through wipes like crazy because if only 30 wipes come in a pack, and I'm using 5 wipes every night (since a lot of my makeup is waterproof and a huge pain when it comes time to washing my face) I usually couldn't even mame it through the week without buying more. I tried Miceller water when it first became a popular thing, and it definitely is much better for skin than wipes are, but it just wasn't strong enough to wash all the layers away, so I'd usually end up using both the water and a couple wipes just so I wasn't scrubbing my face so hard. I saw this makeup melting balm, and I figured it could't hurt to try, especially since it's not crazy expensive. I knew from the second I put some on my face that I wouldn't have to worry about all the time, damage, and money I was spending on any other removers ever again. I'm still shocked at how small of an amount I need to use for my entire face and neck. I use my finger to scoop some of the balm out and apply it evenly to where ever I have makeup on, and then use a warm, wet, wash cloth and wipe it right off. It literally "melts" the makeup right off of you. One 2 OZ bottle will last me almost an entire month! I don't have to dread putting my makeup on for work anymore because I'm not spending even 1/10th of the time I used to spend washing my face to take it off, and I'm saving crazy money as well! My personal favorite part though, is how nice is feels on my face as well.as how nice and smooth and clean my face feels after rinsing it off. Anyone who wears makeup, especially multiple waterproof products, this Elf Melting Cleansing Bomb is literally a game changer!

This balm is effective at removing makeup and SPF and is a great budget option. But it's not my favorite. I had a few times where there was a grittiness which isn't ideal in skincare. There are other products I like more that are equally or more effective. But I'll still come back to this occasionally.

I bought this in hopes that it would actually melt my makeup off like some of my more expensive brands. This is super hydrating but not as good with waterproof makeup. I like to wash my face with this when my face is clean and I want to feel more hydrated. I'm not going to return it, but unfortunately, I don't think I will buy this again.

I'm 54 years old. It made me break out like I was a teenager. I have red painful bumps all over my face since the morning after i used it fir the first time. I had high hopes for this product because i fell in love with Elemis cleansing balm and i love E.L.F.'s under eye colir corrector. I threw out the box. I hope Walmart allows me to return this for a full refund.
