e.l.f. Hydrating Core Lip Shine, Delightful

Actually, I had not tried the ELF line of products and someone had given me the lip shine because they did not like the color, and I did. I ordered a new one in a different color, but my main reason for ordering was to combine this lip gloss with a large bag of bird seed. The bird seed was delayed by one day....I did receive word that it would not be the same day delivery but the next day. I was fine with that. Walmart was good enough to deliver the tiny package of lip gloss the same day which I felt a bit guilty about - delivery of just one little item, but I did appreciate the effort and the good communication.

Purchased because I heard it was very similar to Clinique's, Black Honey. Having only seen it online I feel in love with the color but not the price. So when I heard ELF had a similar $7 lipstick I purchased it right away. I am very fair and it leaves a beautiful shiny color I can't describe~~will have to leave a photo. It's not too dark and it's definitely not purple! I love it!

You know how people have “their color” lipstick? Yeah well this is mine!! I want one for every possible place I might be. I just really need a bigger tube SAME FORMULA!! The tone is so pretty I'm considering getting this color for lip blushing! Yes very hydrating it just melts and makes my lips so kissable!

I think Ecstatic is the Black Honey dupe, but I can't remember. Anyway for $7 I thought I'd try it. I had gotten a few of the plumpers from ELF and I don't hate them, but the packaging is annoying and they have too much slip to them. I love gloss but my hair catches and it gets messy. This one feels like a nice hydrating balm and has just enough slip but not too much. It's sheer but the color payoff is great. Goes in smoothly and using it just to see what it looked like on, I didn't use a lip liner. It stayed where it needs to be. I'm silver haired and bolder colors work best on me, but I've worn nudes for so long I'm not ready for a full blown bold Lippie yet. This is just sheer enough that it's not too over the top for me. One star off for the melon? flavor. Not a fan. If you want a deep bold color but suitable for an easy daily wear, this is the one. I'll need a second one for my purse.

The order was delivered as promised and it's was the right product and color I requested. The protective seal was broken on the lipgloss but it didn't look like it was used.

I was gifted this. It started off ok but the outer tinted bit has worn down faster than the centre and now it's just falling apart. It doesn't last very long on the lips, either.

Color is wonderful, formula was an adjustment for me as it was more glossy than my usual lip products. The biggest negative for me was what it did to my upper lip. While the product is marketed as "hydrating", I found the exact opposite to be true as my upper lip began to have a negative reaction my second day of wearing. My upper lip became dry, wrinkled and flakey towards the middle. My bottom lip hasn't reacted nearly as dramatically but still feels off. I wore the product a couple more days exclusively to see if the situation would improve, but it only got worse. As this is the first product in roughly 15 years that I have had an issue with, I still like e.l.f. and I will continue to buy and use their products.

product was fine, but it was slightly used so there is lack of oversight. Will not be ordering any type of cosmetic from walmart online anymore.

The lipstick tip was smashed, and the entire tube was sticky and melted. The color was much lighter than shown, and not at all want I wanted. I returned it, and got a refund. I also ordered the another ELF lipstick in the color Ecstasy. It was perfect, and the color is very close to Clinique Black Honey. I kept that tube.

On my hand it applies smoothly but on my lips the pigment cakes up and is streaky. not super hydrating either, leaves lips feeling dry after ten minutes of wearing. Also has a nasty strong plastic play-dough scent. very pigmented but not worth it, I have to dab it on lightly in order to get it to look normal on my lips.
