[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how moisturizing this Elf Holy Hydration cream is! It's non scented and helps for restoring the skin's barrier. It has such a creamy soothing texture. Your ok to use on dry, combination skin, sensitive skin, and even on eczema prone skin. It absorbs very fast and gives you the most amazing hydration. It's great for reducing redness and soothes your skin to help give you a more even complexion! It has 1% colloidal oatmeal + cica.

Once I was through menopause, I developed a tendency for eczema. It isn't extreme, but it was enough to send me looking for a solution. And I tried just about everything. Closest I had found to a solution was a colloidal oatmeal-based product that helped a bit, but was meh as a moisturizer, and was stupidly expensive. As I was close to giving up and just living with itchy skin around my eyes and along my nasal-labial folds and having to wear more camo concealer than I want to every day (not to mention being self-conscious when I'm at the pool), e.l.f. introduced its Barrier Goals Cream. I hooted with joy when I saw it (and, yes, my husband gave me a funny look). I've only been working with it for about four days now, and I know I have found my solution - The itching was gone after the first use, and the redness is obviously healing (today is first day without any concealer in months!). I have been applying in twice a day. It works well with make-up (unlike some of the products I tried that made my make-up slide off by mid-afternoon). At night, I have combined it with the Holy Hydration Sleeping Mask for and super-intensive moisturizing boost. Best of all, it hasn't seemed to clogged any pores on my acne-proine skin. I love love love this stuff!!

The consistency is smooth light and doesnt feel greasy at all after application. The effects are long lasting and perfect for even night time routine. Perfect value for this little hydration boost.

I just received my latest E.L.F. order and have used the Barrier Goals Cream twice and I can already tell you that I will be reordering. It is so hydrating and soothing, I look forward to applying as my last step at night. It is the perfect medium weight cream, thick and rich enough to keep my face hydrated overnight, but not too heavy to wear in hot humid Texas spring.

The scent is so good while not being powerful or like it's all it smells natural and it doesn't leave like a really bad residue and doesn't cause any skin irritation it actually causes the skin to feel better than it was before.

I got this to use in the evening. As a millennial, my skin is starting to become more dry compared to previously combination skin. This was the only thing I changed in my routine. I got several white heads on my nose and jawline within 4 uses. The texture is middle of the road creaminess and no ‘overly' fragrant additives, just mildly scented. I would apply about two pea sized dabs for my face and neck. If you have extremely dry skin, this may be exactly what you're looking for. As for me, leaning more towards combination skin from dry, it gave me white heads. I will probably use the rest of the tube as hand cream and not repurchase.
