I have tried so many primers from high end to drugstore and this is my very favorite. It's great for no makeup days because it seems to calm my skin and blur it to perfection, but is also excellent under my foundation.
Elf Cosmetics are always my go-to brand. This brand is budget friendly but delivers high quality makeup products and more. I have probably bought this primer and I'm not even exaggerating more than 30 times it is the only primer that is smooth makes my skin feel soft doesn't make me break out. I have extremely acne prone and sensitive skin. I get breakouts constantly if I don't use the right products. Again elf is just always delivering that high quality on a budget friendly dollar. I will only use elf cosmetics. Top notch, highly recommend.
Very happy with this product. I don't feel like it really erases the redness effectively but it makes for a great primer and goes in super smooth with a smooth finish.
I have pale skin with cool neutral undertones. I get extreme dryness around my nose and eyes but no redness. Would I need a colour correcting shade or just clear? (I am also buying a moisturiser to help with the dryness)
I like the product as I do have some facial redness. I applies on the face easily and I would say it acts similar to a primer in consistency. My only issue with the product is that once applied the green isn't as pronounced as other products. This would work well for someone with less severe redness.
I tried three anti-redness primers. ELF had the best coverage for money. SMASHBOX is great, but it is so expensive for something you will wash off at the end of each day. ELF was much better than the runny anti-redness primer from Neutrogena.
This is an excellent primer that is so good that sometimes I don't even bother putting on make-up afterword. Smooth on the skin and the green color immediately disappears. It fills in the imperfections and makes your skin look beautiful. The dispenser, however, is a piece of trash. You sit there pumping and pumping to get some of the product out and can never tell how much you have left in the bottle. It really is cheaply. Too bad because now I am not so sure if its worth another buy.
I was a little disappointed when I tried this product. I have hyperpigmentation and I use a cream to get ride if it but it makes my face pretty red. I decided to use this and it really didn't do much. It helped may be 25 percent but I could still see the red on my face pretty well. I did not have a break out I have sensitive skin that is prone to acne and this product did not affect my face. I recommend someone trying this it may help them, it is a pretty good price.
This product works, but it's thin, and one must apply a lot of it. It took three applications, and it really didn't cancel out the red in my nose. It left a good matte finish, though.
I love my Elf cosmetics but this Illuminating Face Prime is horrible! Not kidding. First of all, the product didn't come out when you pumped the bottle. I took off the top and there was no pipe attached to the top...all that was in there was thick goop. I tried to use it and it was cakey and dry. No illumiation at all. It's going in the trash.
